I really love the way you always explain all the possibilities one could use to express his thought. And the touch of humor in the situations. Thanks for the teaching 🙏
Thank you for all the hard work in putting this together. It had me laughing and I learned alot. I'm hoping to better my German before visiting my husband's family in Stuttgart, this video has helped so much already! Thank you so much.👏
Thank you, sir, just because of you I can understand German much more clearly and better my concepts I am for India and I had created a backlog of A1 and A2 and because of you, I can clear my backlog thank you, sir, 🙇 and, sir, can you please make a video of the normative masterclass
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed this content. I do plan to incorporate some nominative case information into my upcoming case system master class, which will include all 4 cases and how they all work, but that is my next big project and will take a while to get put together.
Hallo Herr. Antrim, you're an absolutely amazing human and teacher, love your videos and especially the typical deusther mannerisms of your characters, makes it soo relatable and funny. I just know I'll learn German in a couple of months with your great content! : D
I would encourage you to watch each section multiple times. 1. Start with a blind watching. Just push play and go through the whole lesson. (Not the whole video. The whole lesson.) 2. Then watch it again, but pause every time you find a word you don't know (or didn't know before watching the video). Write the word down with the translation and continue. 3. Put the words you didn't know into a flashcard app or write out physical flashcards for them. (If you buy the book that comes with this video, you get access to the Anki flashcards I created, so you can practice that way. You can get a free sample of the cards here: www.germanwithantrim.com/product/a2-german-vocabulary-flashcards-free-sample/) 4. Practice the words a few times on the flashcard app. 5. Watch the video again and see if you understand it better (without reading the subtitles). 6. Bonus: Close your eyes and just listen to the lesson. How much do you understand now? Caution: Be sure you are *understanding* the content and not just memorizing the story, because you have seen it multiple times. It is best to spread out these viewing sessions, so you don't do them all at the same time. This will also increase the likelihood that you will remember the vocabulary for a long time. Thank you. I have made a conscious effort to slow down, but some still find it too fast. I can't find any examples in this video, however. If you think I speak too fast to understand, you will never be able to understand a native speaker speaking at a normal rate of speech. The only way to overcome this is to practice with someone speaking slowly (like this video or Slow German Podcast) and then build up your listening skills. You can also adjust the speed of the video on TH-cam in the settings. Slow the video down (usually the audio doesn't suffer from 0.75 or 0.5). Then gradually speed it up as you gain skills.
Dankeschön, ich habe nur seit 4 Monate Deutch studiert und finde das Video so lustig und nützlich!!

you are soo fast for learners, it could be much easier if you slow down a little
i do not mean your work is not good, for real you are a great tutor

Im learning at an a2 level and this is almost too slow for me. I'd recommend making sure you know the basics before listening to this
Are you sure this is A2? It looks B1 to me.
Seems more like a2 but you may be right
are Germans known to have passive aggressive mannerism like this? Or is it just a joke in the video?
Just a joke. Germans would actually be direct and tell you whatever they really think.
