Manas National Park :-
Established in the year 1928 as a Sanctuary Manas National Park is a National Park , a Tiger Reserve, and an Elephant Reserve in Assam, India. Located in the Himalayan foothills, it borders with Royal Manas National Park in Bhutan. The park is known for its rare and endangered species such as the Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog. Manas is also famous for its population of the Wild Water Buffalo. Because of its biodiversity, and variety of habitats, Manas National Park is a biosphere reserve. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1985 by UNESCO. There are two major biomes present in Manas National Park such as The Grassland Biomes and The Forest Biomes . The Park has recorded 55 species of mammals, 380 species of birds, 50 species reptiles, and 3 species of amphibians. Out of these wildlife , 31 species are according to Red Data Book threatened. Manas has the largest population of the endangered Bengal florican . Manas National Park has three ranges - Bansbari (Central Range), Panbari (Western Range), and Bhuyanpara (Eastern Range). Bansbari is the most famous.

But RBT or Leopards etc might not be there in Manas National park

No No Manas National Park really has leopards and tigers . We actually spotted a leopard . But the leopard crossed the road so quickly that I could not take a picture of it. 😊
