The educational curriculum in Nigeria has failed Yoruba youths. We have millions of Yoruba youths who don't know that 70 per cent of the population of Kwara state is Yoruba people. We have Yoruba youths and even politicians who don't know about the Yoruba kingdoms in Aniocha North local government in Delta state. We have Yoruba youths who don't know that Warri means Iwerre which is the same as the Iwerre in Oyo state. We have Yoruba youths who do not know that Itsekiris are Yorubas ethnically and linguistically. We have produced an enormous numbers of educated illiterates in Yorubaland.
