Does it have that little arrow to show you where to go when you are using maps but on the data screens? Great vid btw, helped me a lot!🎉
So glad I came across your channel! New sub here :0)
Best comment this month ❤️ Thanks for the sub, lots more videos coming 🔥
@@ActiveIdeas looking forward to them! 🧡
@priscillawalker677 🔥 🧡
Hi, does it navigate through Strava and Wikiloc maps?
What’s the difference between navigation with 165 and Vivo active 5, I had a look at both in store the other day, the Vivo active 5 looks much better but the 165 definitely has more sport features….
Yeah, I’m in the same boat as you, definitely prefer the look of the Vivoactive 5.. it’s a very sexy watch 🔥 So on the VA5 you can only navigate towards a saved location really.. nothing special. With the 165 you can actually load up FULL GPX routes and follow them along.. I actually used the Forerunner 165 to Hike/run the Yorkshire Three Peaks last weekend, it was well fun!
So you've bought a Forerunner... but you want maps 🤭😬 .. well at least you didn't get a Vivoactive 😉
Maybe if you need map Garmin fenix 6 is better option just few $$ from Garmin165 ? What do you think ?
If having Garmin and Maps are fundamental and you don’t want to spend $$ yes.. the Fenix 6 is a great option. The Fenix 6X Titanium Solar is still one of my favourite ever watches.. its battery life, durability, lightweightness is unrivalled 🔥You will be taking a hit with no touchscreen 💫
@@ActiveIdeas but wouldn’t Fenix 6 feel too old?
@@brucelin5842 Honestly, apart from the lack of a touch screen the Fenix 6 still feels pretty modern. Not much has changed in software and the Fenix 6 was always ahead of its time. Accuracy wise.. I guess there's an argument that the GPS chipset will feel old.. the Fenix 6 was victim of not having great GPS as soon as you got underneath trees or near cliff edges, the current pace would go wild.. there's lots of forums talking about this & I experienced these issues too. But tbh... from my testing.. the Fenix 7 pro also suffered with GPS acquisition in tough conditions. But yeah, if you just want to track your runs, have great battery life and awesome Mapping.. Fenix 6 is fantastic ❤
how do i see the map on my watch where to go
If it’s not there you might have to add it as a data screen ❤️
