Professor Rick Schulting noticed two small mistakes in his presentation that he would like to correct. The Errata are: - On slide 5, Professor Rick Schulting wanted to say, 'this is not unique to the western Christian tradition' instead of 'this is not unique to farming societies' since the Iatmul of Papua New Guinea are a horticultural society. - On slide 14, Professor Schulting refers to Lower Sado diets near the coast as having a greater emphasis on marine and terrestrial resources. He should have said 'a greater emphasis on marine and estuarine resources'
The bigger picture human didn't always migrate out of choice, warfare, prisoners, slaves, traded, consign, etc., often confuse the record because a single or few people could find themselves moved very far from their homeland, be integrated and have children between the hunter and the agrarian.
@roberto lang Apparently Central European Farmer Ancestry only pitched up during the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age with some Steppe Related admixture. That is why the Bell Beaker Guys from Rathlin shows closer relatedness to the later Unetice Culture/Central Europe than to Neolithic Spain and Ballynahatty...
Thank you for your studies and presentation, beautiful work
Just fantastic..amazing…

That accent is accentuated by the echo in the room .

Your points may eventually be prov3d to be results of current western views, without knowledge, of our human past.
And maybe western archeologists' blindness to possibilities.
The Ballynahatty Woman is a good indicator of the connection between Spain and the Isles.....
Liar. It is a good indication of the ancient links between IRELAND AND Spain.☺
@@christybyrne5195 Whahahaha !!! Yes indeed. Neolithic link.

Ric Hern, note that she is from the Mediterranean side of the Iberian peninsula. The connexion is usually depicted from the Atlantic side.
@@antonijaume8498 Yes she pulls towards Sardinians like most Neolithic Iberians...
Questionable to "assign" gender based on arrowheads in the grave. Circular reasoning.
HMMMMMMM???
there are lies, damn lies, and statistics, when presented by lawyers, unconvincing.
