I agree with your initial assessments about ND34. I’ve been obsessed with the ND games for about 20 years, and have played all of them multiple times-until 34. I’ve honestly not made it all the way through yet. I lost interest several times, having to consult the strategy guide way too many times. I’m almost done playing, but it has been weeks since I last worked on it and I honestly don’t really care at this point. It’s sad.
You have to make the Shadow ranch Baked beans that and the tuna tolling rolls might be my favorite of the recipes i've tried from the nancy drew cookbook.
For the record, I love your commentary. It always makes me laugh. I hope you get to read the yellow cover Nancy Drews soon. Those are the ones I first started reading as a kid and I loved them. If you're able to get your hands on any of the original blue cover books (before they were edited and condensed to the yellow covers), I recommend those too.

Nancy Drew Game Recipes is a great channel which I think hasn’t got enough attention. They come up with and also follow in-game recipes from all of the Nancy Drew games. So maybe you could check them out and try some of their recipes and maybe give them a shout out. They have worked hard and have a lot of fun making the food in their videos. I absolutely love them! They also use the music from the games in the background and even dress as characters from the games while they cook.

That is up to you of course. I really like the atmosphere of the game. Actually seeing famous buildings in the country Nancy is in! I loved that. But I’m a nerd. 😂And I love the real history, that of course is in many ND games. And I didn’t mind the dialogue in the last game. Granted the accents weren’t great but that has always been true. At least there were way more puzzles. A couple were bad, but that has been the case in all the games. I do wish that there was more phone calls rather than just text. I loved the optional coffee puzzle too, but I’ve always liked those type of tasks in the ND games. My big thing, I had fun playing the last game, and wanted to replay it. I did replay it. I have never been able to replay Midnight in Salem, even with the skipping dialogue option. Everyone is welcome to have their own opinions though. Was it a perfect game? No, but I don’t think any of the ND games are perfect. And maybe the series ends at 32 for you. That’s okay. I think however everyone can agree 34 is better than 33.

I can’t imagine not having your commentary. The singing, and jokes, my husband and I love your videos. We’ve watched them for years on repeat. My husband’s favorite game is still Shadow Ranch. He said the stories and the puzzles went to great together. Mine is still Silent Spy. Great Q and A video. I watched while I was nauseated, this was a great distraction. Please do not stop doing commentary videos 🙏🏻. Also if I met you in person, I’d be jumping up and down screaming my head off asking for an autograph and picture lol.
Looking forward to the super long KEY review lol, I've been watching you since I was 6 years old (fr, born in 2003) I remember me and my sister laughing at your Castle Malloy walkthrough and it was my injection into other ND games and the community ❤
Wizard Kitten gave it a D+, or 32 out of 50, closest in quality to Trail of the Twister, and her grading system is much more specific than most. I haven't played it at all yet, as Her still hasn't shipped the physical copies that should have been available from the start (they seem to want to get you to buy it twice, both as a download and as a physical copy, which I'm not going to do). Frankly, I'm not sure anyone cares about new games any more. It's been too long. People like the IDEA of a new game being released, as an excuse to have a party, but I saw hundreds of people watching live playthroughs from various people on opening day. Clearly those are people who don't care about playing and solving the game on their own. They want it to exist, but that's good enough. I think now that was the basic idea behind MID too, to have a game, any game, they just went a little too far, and made it obvious to too many people that it was no good. From the various reviews it sounds like this one is nothing special, but not awful. But I'll be curious to see how many of those people who watched on Opening Day actually paid $30 for a game they'd already seen full spoilers for.
lol how dare you call me out. the npcs bothered me just because they felt weird, they made the vibe in the courtyard weird. they were an improvement tho, and I'm not mad about it. I'm hopeful they'll improve if they make another game and it won't feel as weird next time.
i like alibi in ashes but i don't really rewatch playthroughs of tomb of the lost queen or any of the games after that point i don't even replay the games myself after 25.
I can’t believe this game was ever an 8/10. For me it’s probably a 5/10, whereas MID was at best a 3/10. The games are flat. They have no soul or personality which is what made all the early games! Also the HER CEO has no business working at CEO. Cash grabs will kill this franchise that has always been made by the amount of heart poured into them because this CEO doesn’t care at all about the games themselves (or the fans, which is obvious from several fans having horrible experiences with HER since the shift). HER needs to get it together and do better.
