This is my favorite makeover. I can't imagine as a kid if I'd come back home and my mom told me I was in a whole new room, but this would have been totally worth it. I love how well everything seemed to be their vibe, and what dude wouldn't love a light up shoe wall!

Well done Crystal and team! *** On another note, I worry when I see Aaron really tired all the time/falling asleep… has he talked to his doctor about his sleep issues? It could be sleep apnea, which can fly under the radar for the person affected. Anyway I hope he takes time to look after himself! He’s so good at taking care of everyone else, but he needs to make himself a priority when it comes to his own health.

Making the "big" room a guest room makes sense. Since it already has a kitchenette, you can add a coffee/tea area, for guests that stay. This way they can get up, get a cup of coffee, before going out and spending time with the family.

So many things to love.... first of all the only reason the boys looked disappointed at first was that they wanted to stay together in the same room. They love their bro. Love that!! Very Cool, just Love it! When I was home (YEARS AGO) I came home & my room had a canopy bed, new dresser, a phone (before cell phones) fresh paint to match the canopy, just beautiful. So happy for the boy's!!

I think some of you are not watching the whole video nor understanding what’s being said. 🤔 Bigger doesn’t mean better, and a smaller room is easier to clean and honestly feels a lot cozier. They have stated their plans for the big room, as someone was saying “I wonder what plans they have for it”, it’s right there in the video folks. Jake wasn’t complaining of the big room, if you LISTENED, he was starting to get upset at the thought of not sharing with Lucas anymore🙃 ofc probably also the room change without a warning ahead, as I’d get a bit upset even if I loved my new room but you can listen to him, guys✋🏽 don’t make assumptions when you can literally watch the video, and listen to what’s being said. Edit: I needed to state that I love Alex’s satchel bag thingy.
The gesture is really good and they clearly loved the makeover, but I think this shows how sometimes a really nice gesture with good intentions can feel not so good in at least one tiny part. A child’s bedroom can sometimes feel like an extension of themselves or a safe space, so in my opinion asking first and letting them know when this is happening can make it even better of a surprise ✨ c: it doesn’t take the element of surprise because that’s still present when telling them the news of this gift 🌟 AND the fact that they were asked first directly can make them feel even better about it subconsciously, when your opinion is directly taken into consideration it feels different, and I guess I different sense of agency. I could be projecting, but as we grow older we tend to want more agency over us and our rooms (that’s why teens start to personalize more their rooms). I hope this is not taken badly and just as another way to see it that could lead to different ways of doing things, we are always changing and learning new ways to do things and that’s the way I see this as well ❤️ You guy’s are doing great 💕🌟

Looks like the brackets were screwed on so the screws would have to be undone. Then take them off. Just small holes that would need to be filled.
