- On this episode of the Overcomfort podcast, I sit down with my dear friend Marlene Mendez, aka Marlenedizzle. We talk about her childhood and where she came from. She goes into detail about her wild college life, getting her Bachleor's degree in business and choosing a completely different career. She gives insight on her current relationship and coming out of a toxic one.
I went back to school at 27 and graduated at 30 with honors. I feel like I took it a lot more seriously. It’s a great accomplishment. Marlene is one of the few influencers that is unproblematic and so positive. I’ll continue to follow her because of that.
I went back to school at 42, and graduated at 48. Going back to school at an older age made me appreciate it more. I regret not doing it sooner.
Jenika, I think you should go back to school to get your degree in counseling. That would be so great! Its never too late. Don't leave us though! :)

I’m 26 and I just started school again. I have zero regrets! I’m enjoying every moment of it so far. It is hard but it’s worth it. If you have the feeling of going back to school don’t be afraid to go. I think the hardest part is just starting. I encourage you to follow your dreams. Anything is possible. 🙏🏼💛
