Excellent review Jackie! I agree this new fragrance does not last long time. However, I am very pleased with its projection. I also think that is amazing having a wide variety of Miss Dior fragrances that target different customer's tastes. I'm also happy with the fact the House came out with the 35 ml options for those who have big collections or want to carry the small size in their bags.
Thank you for speaking to letting a bottle age. I absolutely agree! Sometimes ingredients, especially quality ones, need to develop and mature. And it makes it so much better. It's frustrating when somebody declutters something almost immediately.

Hi Jackie! I bought the new one only because the perfumer is MFK and I wanted it just for that! Well, I feel it needs to sit and macerate for a bit. I do love it I am a huge fan of Miss Dior or anything Dior 😂. Yes you are right about performance, I am waiting for this to age!

I love Dior perfumes. I wish I had tried Miss Cherie, but I wasn’t really into fragrances at the time. I agree with you about letting perfumes age-the majority of my fragrances have become increasingly better with time. Absolutely Blooming is one of them. Thanks for the video
Hi Jackie! This was an excellent in depth review. Performance wise I had exactly the same experience with this fragrance as you when I first tried it. I loved both Chérie (o.g. as well as 2011) and MD 2017. The 2024 version is definitely growing on me. It’s much sweeter than the previous flankers but it’s got this gorgeous patchouli base that we all love in our MDs. I missed it in the 2021 version which was pretty nonetheless.🙂
I did everything you did. Bought the small one. Have tried it a few days. Scent is beautiful. It doesn't seem to be lasting very long at all. Will let it sit for a while to see if it ages as gets stronger. If it does, I definitely want a bigger bottle because it smells so feminine and beautiful!
I will probably pick this up during Sephora Spring Sale!
Thanks for this complete review! I About the performance, when I tried it the first time (just one spray on my wrist) I could smell it for hours, even after washing my hands it was still there. The second time I tried it, I sprayed it everywhere, around my neck, wrists and after 2 hours I couldn’t smell it anymore. Maybe it was too much and I went nose blind to it. Probably best to spray on chest area and lower in order to avoid that? I’ll test that way next time. Looking forward to your update on the performance 😊
The 2011 MDC was my first perfume, and my only one for years and years. I didn’t wear fragrance often because of the work I did, but I was obsessed! I went to go repurchase last year and only then did I discover it was long since discontinued! I went on the hunt for my new signature scent I loved as much as that and it turned me into a budding frag head. I just love it and I am dying to get my nose on this new one. The oak moss and strawberry are giving me hope!!

I blind bought a big bottle of the 2017 when they came out with the replacement. The longevity is amazing. I actually didn’t enjoy it at first. But sitting and maturing has really elevated this fragrance. It’s so beautiful now!! I don’t need another version. This bottle should last me a very long time.

I seen this fragrance on a Facebook group I am in and immediately added it to my cart but didn’t purchase it. I looked up reviews on TH-cam and didn’t see any channels that I am subscribed to with a review out so I started watching a random video and before I finished the review I went ahead and purchased it. When I started the video back up then I saw that the longevity was poor. I wasn’t worried since I figured it will get stronger with time. I sure hope it does cause I purchased the full size 😅. I am going to wear it once when it comes in then I will be putting it up probably for at least 6 months.
Hello ! If I were a part of Dior creative team and were lucky to collaborate with Francis Kurkdjian I would ask to create a new perfume ( new bottle, new olfactory DNA, new name ) instead of creating another flanker of Miss Dior . I had Miss Dior Cherie 2005 version and it was really stunning ( one of my first biggy perfumes when I moved to Paris in 2004 ) Love your reviews .
Love your review. Thanks for being so thorough. I loved the 2005 version as well and I will never purchase an iteration again of Miss Dior/Miss Dior Cherie because every few years, they tinker. It’s bad enough that on the makeup front, Dior and so many other brands discontinue foundations, lipsticks, etc and break my heart! But I expect perfumes to stay consistent. This is why I stick to Chanel for fragrances overall.

I was crushed with the 2021 version too😂. I’m in love with the me new parfum, I was massive fan of Miss Dior Cherie and I couldn’t understand why they got rid of it, I was devastated. This new one has everything that 2021 version has been missing. I agree that this will age well just like my absolutely blooming bouquet did. Thanks for reviewing this. 🎉

I absolutely love this new 2024 version. it is strong and stayed on me all night. Immediate compliments.! at first I thought it was weak, but I was absolutely wrong. as it was projecting well the night I wore it out, and I was in a full bar of people. So I think, possibly going nose blind, and not realizing it. So I believe it's quite deceiving. I got as many compliments off of this, as I do Miss Dior absolutely blooming, which is strong... it was on my clothes the next day, very strong.

I own all versions except 2017. Alas my og cherie is merely dregs in the bottle, its still my fave. Im not too keen on 2021 version but it was a gift. I smelled this new version instore and although its pleasant, its not really groundbreaking and i dont get reminded of cherie at all. I probably will get it to keep the others company of course. 😉❤️

That’s the one I’ve been looking for the Miss Cherie! I was always wondering why everything else smells different since my first one. Not knowing they discontinued it! I thought it was my nose buds.
I love the opening in new Miss Dior also those wild strawberries are so delicious…… I bought 3 bottles as a backup thats how much i like it 😂……. I also have 2017 Miss Dior and even juice is darker now so Im assuming that the 2024 will macerate with time too ….. and third version which I absolutely adore is absolutely blooming .

Cherie made me fall in love with perfume in general. Like you, I like the 2017 version and dislike the 2021 version. Your review made me cautiously optimistic lol. It did make it to my country yet but I'll be waiting! An idea for Dior: make some sort of a Miss Dior Legacy set with Cherie, the 2012, the 2017, and the current versions. I'd pay for that!

tested this new 2024 one out and its a no. Too much patchouli and turns cheap smelling to me and the fruity top notes hide away fast. It could of been better but issa no.
also this new version doesn't last at all. 2-3 hours max

I loved Miss Cherie
I bought a bottle of Miss Dior Eau de Parfum online and it was delivered yesterday to my PO Box while I was out of town. I'll pick it up tonight...maybe tomorrow. It was a good price PLUS it wasn't pink, but a peachy-orange color like the 2017 version showed. THAT'S the version I'm trying to get ahold of.
I will be ordering the new Miss Dior 2024 parfum sometime this weekend from the Dior website, and I'm excited to get it, as well.
I'm sooooo excited!!! When I opened the package, the juice is the same dark orange color as yours is!!! 2017!!! Whoohoo!!!

My very first and the only perfume crush is Miss Dior Cherie 2005, i will never forget how much i was impressed by a piece of paper tester covered by plastic film which came with a fashion magazine, that tester still have some beautiful smell even two years later, sadly i was not able to afford it at that time as a student. By the time i finally be able to buy one, it was reformulated, i still bought one, even though the reformulation is just a slight change, i can't find the feeling anymore, the smell was gone. I never use perfume since then, i have been hunting for something close to it, but sadly nothing is close to the treasure, i hope Dior will reintroduce it as a 20 years souvenir, i will stock it up for sure.

But indeed! A bit sad about lasting performance, also 4 hours with me, I sprayed one time on the skin, and 2nd spray a bit towards my clothing, and that lasts the entire day though! (On clothing), but on skin, it was gone after 3-4 hours 😅
Soooo.. I think an extra spray on the clothing would be best! 😁
I loved the 2012 version, was ok with the 2017, can’t stand the 2021 version.

Ms Jax, I have been waiting on this review. I am a true Dior girlie. I have gotten my nose on the 2012, 2017, and 2021. The 2017 is better than the 2012. The 2012 juice is yellowish. If you are looking for the other versions like the 2012 Ebay/Mercari has them. I even have a quarter size sample of the 1947 version. It is really really vintage. I dont wear it I just wanted to know what it smells like.
Lucky you to get a sample of 1947 version . I wish I could smell a YSL Opium version from 1977 and a Van Cleef & Arpels First version from 1976 . Greetings from Paris

I can’t wait to try this one. Totally off topic I was in your area yesterday having some fun and when I got home my botttle of afnan la Fleur bouquet was delivered. I wore it last night and today and I think I am nose blind to it. Did you have to let your bottle sit for awhile? Also I get some kind of note similar to Ann’s Sui mermaid which I sold on mercari because according to someone on fragrantica it reminded them of Myrtle beach lol😂

I love this new version however I think the 2021 version is the best. Miss Dior was always too heavy for me. That opening of this new parfum is gorgeous

I say you have to have rose in miss dior too. I was disappointed to see a jasmine rather than a rose.

Just curious, is this similar to Burberry her elixir?
I sprayed heavy and others smells it way after 12 hours on me it leave a scent bubble I’m on my 2nd bottle.

I sprayed this parfum in Ulta the other day and it was around 11 am and with one spray. Upon first spray I was in love but after 4 hours I too couldn’t smell it anymore. However around 10:00 pm my sons girlfriend stopped by and was like omg whatever perfume you are wearing smells amazing and I was like really cause I can’t smell it at all. She was like I def smell it and I need to buy it cause it smells amazing. So I am wondering if other people can actually smell it and I just go nose blind to it really fast because the way she was talking and bragging about it was like it was the holy Grail of perfume and I could not smell a whiff of it.
I've been REALLY disappointed with the longevity of some of these really pricey perfumes. I love floral scents but have found several that just wear off so quickly. TB sublime rose is pretty good and coach wild rose lasts ALL day literally. Coach floral doesn't and I absolutely love that scent but it is gone like 30 minutes later on me. Same with philosophy rose ballet. I would love to find a spring scent that actually lasts.
Am I the only one noticing that when miss dior perfume age it turn more yellow. It kinda remind me of cherie. Especially eau de parfum.

I’ve heard others comment that the new Miss Dior doesn’t last long. For me to pay that price point, it’s got to last on me
I think it's pretty potent and long lasting. Two sprays is enough. I'm someone who likes strong perfume.

I don’t agree about the longevity. I sprayed it on my wrist at Sephora last week and I still smell it on my Apple Watch band
I have the original Miss Dior I bought 3 100 ml bottles before they came with a 2017 version when I finally decide to buy the 2017 version the next day they came with the 2021 version that I don’t like it at all
I’m definitely not a fan of the 2021 version either.
I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered the minute it showed up on the Dior website. I tested it for 3 days and then stopped because it’s probably going to be a return. Liked but not loved. Something about the opening wasn’t great for me. Performance is bad as you describe. I agree that it could get better with time
