I have been to the mela last year.... And it opened after two years of being closed (due to covid) and it was so much fun. I remember even I couldn't see all the states and regions crafts as this Mela is so huge, I got tired and returned.

Also recently one Korean caffe named Mr K Ramyun Caffee opened in Green Park Delhi where you can taste it when craving for original Korean Ramyun
Actually most of the things in the melas are handmade especially those jute bags...melas are traditional and they tend to promote the small businesses that usually run in homes

Also, India is too big. Too many place to visit. Even Indian themselves don't get opportunity to explore all places in their lifetimes. Btw, Since you are in Delhi NCR, Weekend are off for your better half, Pls take my unsolicited travel advice. Plan 2 day easy trip to hill station such as Shimla, McLeodganj, Nainital, Mussoorie, Chopta, Auli, Khajjiar, J&K etc as these are nearby i.e around 6 to 10 hours car travel from Delhi NCR. Try to Leave on Friday evening if possible. (If Friday is national holiday then it is bonus, Leave on Thursday late evening) You will reach on Saturday morning to completely different place. You can come back to Monday morning or Sunday late night easily if planned well. Its also great place to escape from "THE GREAT INDIAN SUMMER HEAT" during April-July. Since you are in India for limited times, Make most of it. Take precious memories back home. BTW, When you get long vacation. Try far away states such as Tamil, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka ,WB, etc.
