Got to love the turbo sound. To me it seems that all Ivecos are so sporty compared to other buses.

Yes, the bus is quite fast. Probably faster than a Citaro. Still I prefer Mercedes because of the hopeless automatic transmission in the Irisbus. Sometimes I end up with like 800 rpm in an upward hill. Shit bus

+SSEnrich th-cam.com/video/BeKf5-nfAtM/w-d-xo.html Here's the new Citaro video. Citaro seems to be a little faster.
Which transmission was in that Irisbus, that you were driving? I mean that the whole bus is so different, between ZF and Voith transmissions. And all those companies that I have worked to, have had specialists that modifies the engine and transmission software...exactly the same bus may be like night and day between those companies. :)

This one is with a ZF 6HP594. The same transmission is available with a Power shift logic that would leave the citaro to dust with that engine if there were no owner specific limits installed. The E5 Volvo's are a good example as they even have a rpm limiter setting in the owners menu in the board computer.

just push the gear limiter 1 2 or 3 that keeps the previous gear
