A reflection on grief and a poignant sonic journey - Please Excuse Me, I'm Grieving- is an album born from the depths of loss. Crafted in the aftermath of the unexpected departure of my father, these dark ambient soundscapes invite listeners to immerse themselves in a world where grief is palpable, yet strangely comforting. Each track guides listeners through atmospheres as all-consuming as grief itself, or at least as I understand it.
'Please Excuse Me, I'm Grieving' isn't about escaping grief; it's about finding refuge within it. Let these atmospheres envelop you, offering solace and understanding in the depths of your own journey.
This record was created with the intention of providing a warm and safe space for others to process their grief. At times grief can feel so sharp, so present and encompassing; at times it is a warm cloud of memories and comfort. I hope this record can provide some kind of refuge for listeners as they reflect on loss, love and the human experience.
