Okay first of all, THANK YOU!!! My goodness! You have no idea how much digging I had to do for some actual EVERY DAY CARRY ideas. Like genuinely. 99% of all EDC is literally people who, every day, are apparent hunting a grizzly bear, performing literal surgery on themselves, building a cabin in the forest, followed by building tons of fires, filtering water and starting a farm, all with their "EDC kit". I don't know about you, but I ain't doing that shit on a normal day, or any day for that matter. I just wanted to see what people carry on them for the regular day to day use. Do I want to have a bag for a serious situation where I might have to do some manly ass sh*t to survive? Of course! But I just want to see PRACTICAL EDC where I'm just going to work, going to the store, going downtown for the day, maybe be cute and go for a jog. Like, if I need more than a small leatherman or a boo boo kit, I am going to have a specific set up for it. No standard person has an EDC like they are about to walk into a warzone. It's a cool hobby, but be realistic. I understand being ready, but people really gotta separate that out!
Yeah, this. It is a shame, that you have to classify the practical part. Many dudes out there are just trending and do not seem to really (=longterm) use their gear. If anyone knows more creators/video like this please recommend them. A daily usable EDC/EDU should not be as hard to find as it is nowadays.
Seems like quite a few people want you to load up that bag but it is an EDC bag not a backpack. The only thing I recommend is to keep your mask in a Ziploc and your spare in a different Ziploc. They are like a dust magnet and may not be easy to wear when dirty and makes it easier to hand one over to a friend when you aren't touching it and it's sealed up. Other than that, great video, thanks!
Good grass is a must for the apocolypse! Who doesn't need a lignter?! Lol! I'm gonna be lit chief! Heck, I might just grow it if society is lost! Use it for trade. Food. Firearms. Ammo. Relations! Lol
Chapstick lip balm would be a useful item doubles as a firestarter. A bic lighter, a comb, a hankerchief, small tool kit or multitool, small sewing kit, a beanie, extra pair of socks, micro first aid kit, handi-wipes, could all fit in as well.
I normally don’t comment on TH-cam videos but this was in my recommendations and you sir nailed it. Everything in the bag just Makes sense and is practical and affordable all that’s missing is a lighter and maybe some bandages.
I suppose the most important thing is to pack items that are the most useful to your lifestyle and circumstances. In mine I have a lot of bandaids of different sizes because I'm so accident prone. Also a lot of wipes because I'm always getting into messy situations like being pooped on by seagulls
Your setup is quite normal for everyday stuff. The shopping bag is a nice thing to have on you. Use as a bag extension (carry extra stuff) & also when shopping (in 🇲🇾 20 sen for a plastic bag).
Excellent! I'm all for being prepared for various scenarios, and I do prepare. Butnwhen I run to the store, I don't need 2 extra AR mags, and assorted survival accessories. There is a place for those things, but not on my back as I go to the store for a loaf of bread. Keys, wallet, flashlight, knife, etc. Carry things used "everyday".
You can never have enough medical gear on you! I’d recommend adding some common medication you may need for a headache or stomachache, etc and some bandaids at least. If you really want to be prepared a tourniquet is a great thing to have on you. You never know if you or someone gets into an accident and needs one.
agree. A hanky for u, and a hanky for someone in case needed. I carry a cravat hanky, just in case of any accidents or injuries in can e used as a sling or cravat to stop any bleeding.
UK friendly EDC, nice. I think we have mostly the same stuff, except I carry a gerber MP600 multi tool - I love it because it's locking for the tools but is bladeless so UK legal. I also carry a small medpack with some basic plasters, paracetamol and immodium (lifesaving when needed :D), and a couple of sanitry pads (because I have a young daughter). I have some thin cordage, duct tape and sewing kit for minor repairs. Oh and a handkerchief because you should never leave home without a hanky.
I love watching these videos so thankyou. I am always left completely dumbstruck by just how much stuff people carry! Your keys have more than I'd ever need for a day around the city. My video would be so boring.. Phone, bank card, earphones, door key. God I feel un prepared now. 🤕
Hey there. Really appreciate the UK friendly, non-tacticool set up. Few suggestions I haven't seen so far: super glue (1ml mini tube, mine lives with medical stuff), tape (gorilla / duct/ other) and string (paracord is far too thick for this size bag, I use 1mm Dyneema or Kevlar line, a 2 strand cord holds my body weight and 15m worth is a tidy, small coil). In my med kit, I always carry arnica cream for bumps and bruises (it's a lifesaver if you have kids, I do the thing with sealing a small amount in a 1 inch section of a straw, actually old rubber tubing). And finally: in place of a fidget spinner, if I know I'll have time to kill and I won't freak everyone out, then I carry a knot tying reminder card thingy with a 12 inch section of bank line (actually 2 different colour lines joined in the middle), learning/ practising new knots is so much more satisfying than social media or watching videos ;o)
yeah i am in america and all the edc vidss i watched to help build ideas all included guns and crap that yeah you might need if you pass by chicago at night but in reality you wont use, so this video was refreshing to see
I'm a delivery driver and the first things I threw in my bag were a roll of ducttape, and a leatherman. I saw bandaids and OTC medicine, that is a great tip!
I'm very happy with the COPYMAXS package. Beautiful storage compartments. Looks and feels like leather. The shoulder straps and zipper are of high quality. Very happy with the purchase.
Great kit. I have a slightly larger bag. Almost all of the same items but I also use it to carry my lunch and coffee to work. Since I am a bit of a slob, I also carry a stain stick and mini sewing kit.
Good to see a functional British EDC video. The American ones are essentially “I walk around like a serial killer cause if I don’t, I’ll be found by one”
thank you for sharing your idea of a edc pouch. With all the full tactical kits out there, it's great to see a sensible version. Love it and plan on revamping mine with a couple of extras ie bandaids, sm Bic, disp gloves for a few.
An empty 5 liter bag from a box of wine doesn't take up much room, but they're strong enough to use as a pillow; and I prefer one of them in a light nylon stuff sack, to any other form of canteen. My Zippos are edc, with extra flints, wicks, x-acto blades, small sewing needles, a coded credit card number, and a tiny container of lighter fluid. I disguise the credit card number as an address, in case I lose it. They can burn many kinds of fuels. And their value as trade items has never gone down. Over the years I've bought a lot of Zippos from yard sales for less than a dollar, added a few things to them, and traded them for meals, bus fares, and pocket knives (which had more trade value). Things that were worth a lot more than a dollar. I like to spend a little more on collector Zippos they don't make anymore. They're easier to trade in an emergency and you can get more for them. They're easier to sell if you adjust the wicks for tricks, and you can learn how to do that on TH-cam. A tricked out Zippo can earn you drinks at a bar and open the door for conversations when you're stranded. I've lost money selling gold and silver in hard times. I never lost money selling or trading a Zippo. If you're starving and trying to sell your lighter for a meal, some people might buy you a meal without taking the lighter. I'm 63 and grew up homeless. I was raised by hobos, winos, junkies, ex-cons, Vietnam vets, and prostitutes. I hitch-hiked, hopped freights, and canoed all over America and parts of Canada; and I traveled to other countries. I've been down to the clothes on my back more times than I can possibly remember... A Zippo lighter is one of the best things to have on you when you lose everything else. They can be worth more than cash, and they make great gifts. I like to carry 2 or 3 of them when I travel.
Good piece of kit, although an upgrade to a bigger, but not so much of a bulky bag maybe a good idea. That'll give u more space if u ever need to store something quick or on the go. A sling bag could be a good option.
You know I think this is a great idea, the bag is a little tight and I would like something a bit bigger... I quite like the look of the Pacsafe sling bags - might have to invest!
Here's a tip, if you have a locking carabiner and you can place it over your fingers, it can work as a self defence object if used properly in times of need and it isn't usuallly something that would be seen as a weapon. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT LOCAL LAWS!
I love your voice! Thanks for sharing your lovely HIDUPZ bag / wardrobe collection :) I actually love how you store your collection and definitely an inspiration for me in my future home
The one thing I'm always missing from videos like this: show me what it looks like with your outfit as you're walking around town! Is it stylish? Does the bag flop about or stay put? Is it easy to rotate around to access without taking it off your shoulder? (I know what I need to carry around with me - it's finding the right bag that's the hard part!)
Lighter Small medi kit basic plasters etc wooly hat and gloves (you can be caught out by breezy summer nights too) Packable tissues for when that pub, cafe, supermarket etc has forgotten to restock and you are already mid flow, lol Small amount of cash £10 or £20 just in case.
This is hands down the most useful and also affordable edc kit I've seen in TH-cam, incredible hits much thought, only a lighter and some med fit headache and bandages, but wow!
That’s a monster flashlight Felix (!). Personally, I might go for something a little smaller, but otherwise a nice edc. ( I like the idea of a mini fabric shopping bag too)
A very good combination. Not fancy not practical urban edc. If u ask for anything missing: 1) may be a mini medical kit or just bandage 2) something that put things together such as duct tape, paracord or glue and the last one 3) I saw you are using Joby phone holder, Joby has a small but flexible mini tripod that can use together with the holder to become either a phone stand or for shooting. Anyway, thank for your sharing
I think the one thing you are missing is some first aid items. I would add different size bandages and some antibiotic cream. I would some headache medicine that is also good for aches and pains. Some Benadryl and anti diarrhea medicine. Also something for upset stomachs. And if you are talking some meds daily, a days supply if you can’t get back home and stay over somewhere.
Wonderful presentation and collection of items. I did not know about the East Pak bag, I had one I got here locally, in fact I purchased several and over time the gained feet and left me. I tend to include fixit things, and consumables such as electrical tape, duct tape, wire and cable ties (bailing wire a duct tape, can you guess I'm in Texas) Love the iphone dongle, I have to get one as well as your charger, think it's pretty swift.
Hello Felix, the bag seems nice, the shopping bag is a great touch, I will include it in my EDC bag too, thanks for the tip! One thing I would recomend is some kind of Multitool, even something like Leatherman Squirt, it's tiny multitool and has scissors build in (so you can skip on clippers). And I also like to include some basic lighter and a little bit of paracord (I once used it more than once, but yesterday I used it when my shoelace broke :D). Anyway great bag full of practical items! :) take care, Cyril.
The Victorinox Compact is an outstanding choice - thinnest SAK with scissors and a corkscrew. I would add some basic first-aid items or, at the very least, a handkerchief. Also a small disposable lighter and some lip balm.
A true utility stash is something I recommend. A tritium glow keychain to add to anything you want to find at night. An edc that turns into a plier. Just suggestions
My edc kit has a 15000mA solar charger with a multi head usb heads. List of items i have is the spork knife(victronix and a 6in knife) 2 lighters small tin for small wounds sanitizer small bottle of vodka torch head torch nail clippers pencil pen sharpie small shopping bag
Awsome bag for edc! Small but yet not too small to not be able to fit anything in it. Me personally I like my steel/brass pens and markers because I 've had many plastic pens breaking on me over the years and making a mess in my bags or pockets and I am just so tired of it.
Guess the only thing I'd complain about is the flashlight. I prefer to have those that are powered by a standard AA battery (or two) as to me it's much easier to replace empty batteries. I wouldn't like to attach my power bank in case I run out of battery with my flashlight.
Very nice ECD. Extremely practical and well thought out. Thank you for taking the time to share your EDC. A mini medical kit (a.k.a.) mini medi might be a good idea. Urban Prepper here on youtube has a couple of great mini medi kits on his channel. Cheers!
OMG your me! It was like looking into mirror. The only difference I use a TWICK-PD USB-C fast wall charger dual port folding pin available Anazon £17.89. I prefer Anker products and use the Powercore lll USB-C wireless charger which supports my Samsung Galaxy Note 20. The Anker Life P3 USB-C wireless earpods with back up cabled buds. I switch between an Olight S2R ll Baton 18650 and RovyVon Aurora A33 torch depending on what I'm doing. The only extras I carry are the Uncle Bills Sliver Gripper tweezers and a ResQMe glass breaker and belt cutter. My pen is a Zebra F-701 and I carry a Nite Ize inka pen on my keys.
Hi ! Thanks for letting me know the contents of your EDC. May I suggest, that you carry "wet wipes" instead of sanitizers. They are very handy in different situations, including cleaning your eye glasses or gadgets. Good day !
very small first aid kit (assorted plasters, very small tube of antiseptic cream, headache tabs, antacids (bisodol), antihystamine (piriton/piriteze), diahoreah tabs (immodium) etc) would be a good idea
Hello, Felix - a good setup... I'd say you could add a lighter, a small med kit in a zip lock bag, your "spork" could also go in a zip lock bag wrapped in tissues or cut down paper towels to keep it clean and for eating or if you have a bleeder...the moist towelettes you could keep with the meds for after meals or to clean a cut after you used the paper towels...duct tape...good idea not to show your keys...as you know, you can add or reduce your gear(and bag size) depending if you are out and about, a day trip or a longer trip...I have an Eastpak day/back pack in black which is really good...did'nt know they made smaller ones...good job! subbed...
Thank you for the excellent comment and suggestions Edgar! You are my 1,000th subscriber :) I will have to name my first born son after you in your honor!
Wonderful video! I also carry an EDC bag with very similar items. You know what they say, better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. Thank you! Cheers
I allways like to have a few little medical supplies in a small ziplock bag. Paracetamol ibuprofen a few different plasters and sterile wipes. Allways handy
Do you have a recommendation for an emergency poncho? I have a real rain coat, and I understand an emergency poncho is just that, a single use for an emergency, but still, most are so incredibly flimsy, I figure there must be something better than that out there
@@debrawhited3035 I have an ATC fire poncho in multicam. I like it but it had a really bad chemical smell from the fabric and seem sealer when I first got it. I had to leave it out for a week.
I have one and is awesome! But yours need a little cleaning 😁only thing missing is a pen! It always come handy and if one fancy like a Parker, it makes you look awesome
to be honest if i cant fit my edc urban stuff in my pants i am not bringing it because i always encounter situations where i must run and i find confort when walking being more important, so back packs and other kind of bag doesnt do it for me, my every day carry is always, my keys that come with a glow in the dark stick, a mini leatherman, a usb to c where i put all my work stuff, a compact skate tool and the keys, one basic spiderco knife, wallet, wireless earphones, a spare mask and 1 small usb c cable, to be honest i never stay more than 8 hours outside to ever need anything else.
Thanks for the bag tour, I carry a lot of the same items in my EDC bag. I didn't think about having some nail clippers though! I will add one of those to mine :)
Add a lighter, some zip ties, some cash in small denominations (about 20 $, £, €) and a single use/emergency rain poncho/coat. Maybe superglue and a stick of hot glue?
Honestly in my opinion it's too much stuff (unless i am in a rural area on a daily basis) but it's good to have some kind of medical kit. I'd try to get a small pouch just for that sort of essentials that you can fit in there so that's better organized or in your main bag.
How did you pull all that stuff out of that little bag?! I half expected you to pull a bottle of wine out next! Great video with some very useful ideas
Lol, These edc bags are the male equivalent of a ladys' bottomless handbag! I really could not be bothered carrying so much crap about on the off chance I, or somebody else may need it..I can't remember the last time I actually *needed* any of the stuff contained in the bag...Keys, phone and wallet are my edc...Some days I may take my ear buds plus a power bank and the appropriate lead if I think I may need them....Guess I am a minimalist at heart! Still find these videos interesting as they scratch the gadget geek itch; particularly liked that compact USB charger....
Spare shoelace ?, good quality moisturising lip balm with SPF 15 can be used as ointment for small cuts and scrapes or as sunscreen. I’m Canadian so well aware that cold dry winter air will suck moisture out of your skin and make you colder like sweating in summer, rub lip balm on exposed skin to reduce heat loss, many other uses…
Firstly, keep all your electronics and cables in a ziploc quart bag, for an obvious reason. Next, you will probably need wet wipes for general hygiene, basic first aid for minor cuts/wounds, a lighter even if you don't smoke, foldable sports cap, buff, arm socks, mini umbrella or ultralight rain jacket and pants (or poncho if you prefer). And to fit all that in, upgrade to a moderately sized fanny pack (which can also be used as a chest sling bag). If you want to carry a water bottle or vacuum flask, you might need to get a small backpack or messenger bag. The extra "foldable shopping bag" you have should then be of an alternative carry style, that is, pair a backpack with a foldable sling bag, pair a messenger bag with a foldable backpack, because it is not comfortable to carry 2 of the same kind of bags on your shoulders at the same time, if you know what I mean. And then, I cannot understand the need for such a massive carabiner. To tow a car? I carry 2 small carabiners (6cm) and 2 velcro straps (40cm).
An excellent kit. Particle and actually useful for an urban environment. Too many pack for a disaster and not what would actually be useful in you daily life. The only things I would add is back up cash or credit card and a bit of duct tape. Although with Google Pay your phone is already a back up for your wallet.
As much or more stuff than I used to carry in my purse lol. Now I carry my phone in a minimal wallet case with driving licence, credit/debit card, insurance cards, med list, and car insurance card. Disclaimer: I don't work anymore, but when I did, my EDC was considerably more useful than what I carry now.
I'm on my 5th watch of this video. Very well presented and lovely goodies in the bag. Just bought a new Timberland Outdoor Archive Crossbody bag, looking for inspiration now
I don't know your laws in the UK but if legal I would recommend a flashlight (torch) with a crenulated bezel. This allows you to use the tool for self defense. I would also include a lighter.
As another said,a small “ bobo kit”. As the world is turning a good basic trauma kit, blow out kit, stop the bleed kit. Thanks for the tour of you bag. We all need to learn from each other.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

US - EDC, = here’s my primary gun, knife, tactical stabbing pen, secondary knife and car keys.
UK - EDC = here’s my phone charger & bus pass
I’m in the uk and I have a Rambo down my pants 3 inch blade and non lockable
Lol.
Pretty much the same in Canada and it’s getting worse
Whenever I see an EDC thumbnail with a gun, I just skip it.

You can add some baking soda in a small container for heartburn, asperin. Lipbalm. Rolled up ziplockbag. Mini poncho. And hot sauce 🔥:D
I thought I was the only one who carries hot sauce
wow what a good loadout. you are so prepared for everything.

This is hands down the most useful and also affordable edc kit I've seen in TH-cam, incredible hits much thought, only a lighter and some med fit headache and bandages, but wow!
Thanks very much for the lovely comment! 🙏
Take your keys off for the video... very smart! Great vid, not everything I'd carry but you definitely gave me some new ideas. Thank you for sharing.
The Victorinox Compact is an outstanding choice - thinnest SAK with scissors and a corkscrew. I would add some basic first-aid items or, at the very least, a handkerchief. Also a small disposable lighter and some lip balm.
Great review. Unbelievable how you could fit all that things into that small bag.
A true utility stash is something I recommend. A tritium glow keychain to add to anything you want to find at night. An edc that turns into a plier. Just suggestions
What do you toss in your utility stash?
Agreed with the flashlight power - I'd never buy an 18650 flashlight unless it had USB-C recharging!
Very nice ECD. Extremely practical and well thought out. Thank you for taking the time to share your EDC. A mini medical kit (a.k.a.) mini medi might be a good idea. Urban Prepper here on youtube has a couple of great mini medi kits on his channel. Cheers!
Urban Prepper is one of my fave channels, so many great ideas and kits
fun fact about those oakley shades pouches, they're microfiber as well. that gives you a backup microfiber cloth!
Great video mate!! I like that photo stand. I laughed when you said sunglasses are a daily essential… here in the UK? 😂😜 and the suncream 😂
Brilliant. I watched this video a few times. Thanks for the great ideas. Durban, South Africa
Like your load out,. For my location, Texas, I would add disposable poncho and use a smaller Victoria ox knife.
The spork was my favourite! ️🔥
Good day !
Chuck a safety pin in there. Useful for both fastening and for stabbing blisters/reset buttons.
Nice utilitarian bunch of stuff. I carry a USB to USB-C short cable to be able to move stuff between usb flash drives and my phone.
very small first aid kit (assorted plasters, very small tube of antiseptic cream, headache tabs, antacids (bisodol), antihystamine (piriton/piriteze), diahoreah tabs (immodium) etc) would be a good idea
@@fgardner Hey! Congrats on the "grand"! I appreciate the honor!
Wonderful video! I also carry an EDC bag with very similar items. You know what they say, better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. Thank you! Cheers
PS - I also carry a small first aid kit (on my person and another in my bag), just food for thought.
I allways like to have a few little medical supplies in a small ziplock bag. Paracetamol ibuprofen a few different plasters and sterile wipes. Allways handy
Brilliant! Only thing I missed was some band-aids and maybe a bandana for quick first aid, and some coins to feed coffee machines ;)
This was a great video but only thing I didn't see in your everyday carry was a multi-tool??
It’s really hard to find a decent uk legal proper multi tool due to our stupid knife laws.
@@MichaelB2L for a non-locking bladed multitool I recommend the Leatherman bond or any Swiss army Knife (84 and 91mm). Hope it helps!
Leatherman micra is small enough to be carried legally
Rain poncho and med kit
Nice collection. I agree on the Compact.
nice video. as others have said, small lighter with beewax hempt coordage wrapped around the body and depresser and youre solid.
to be honest if i cant fit my edc urban stuff in my pants i am not bringing it because i always encounter situations where i must run and i find confort when walking being more important, so back packs and other kind of bag doesnt do it for me, my every day carry is always, my keys that come with a glow in the dark stick, a mini leatherman, a usb to c where i put all my work stuff, a compact skate tool and the keys, one basic spiderco knife, wallet, wireless earphones, a spare mask and 1 small usb c cable, to be honest i never stay more than 8 hours outside to ever need anything else.
In the old days we shared meals.. today we share usb ports 🤭
How did you pull all that stuff out of that little bag?! I half expected you to pull a bottle of wine out next! Great video with some very useful ideas
Best to have the essentials. Prepared minds are calm minds! 😃 👍
A practicality bag. Awesome stuff.
plus for making a point to give specs on the phone in the beginning
Great video
Lol, These edc bags are the male equivalent of a ladys' bottomless handbag! I really could not be bothered carrying so much crap about on the off chance I, or somebody else may need it..I can't remember the last time I actually *needed* any of the stuff contained in the bag...Keys, phone and wallet are my edc...Some days I may take my ear buds plus a power bank and the appropriate lead if I think I may need them....Guess I am a minimalist at heart! Still find these videos interesting as they scratch the gadget geek itch; particularly liked that compact USB charger....
Great video mate, all the best. 👍🏼😉
Very glad to see a UK-relateable EDC! Subbed 😊
Very well done video, everything has a practical application, no wasted space.
Have a look at Eastpak flex similar style only bigger, then your bag won’t look like a sack of spuds . Good video.
The FC11 is a beast of a light!
Excellent EDC je vais bientôt avoir la même sacoche 😊
Wow, I thought it was just me like this and its great to see others LOL
very practical, i would add other items for survival such as fire and water. etc.
Great video, you gave me an idea about a couple of things. I also carry wet wipes. I find them come in handy. Wasn’t too sure if you carried them.?
An excellent kit. Particle and actually useful for an urban environment. Too many pack for a disaster and not what would actually be useful in you daily life. The only things I would add is back up cash or credit card and a bit of duct tape. Although with Google Pay your phone is already a back up for your wallet.
Mary Poppins had a bag similar to this one, but yours holds more 😂👍
First aid . And a lighter would be awsome . But all in all a awsome set up with LOTS of stuff crammed in that lil bag
Just bought a new Timberland Outdoor Archive Crossbody bag, looking for inspiration now
Thanks for watching!
@@fgardner My pleasure. Thanks for the inspiration
Good set up . add Lighter, small first aid kit & Water bottle & bANDHANA
I don't know your laws in the UK but if legal I would recommend a flashlight (torch) with a crenulated bezel. This allows you to use the tool for self defense. I would also include a lighter.
@Singlespeedpunk well I don't know maybe to attach things, punk.
Wow! So many things!
As another said,a small “ bobo kit”. As the world is turning a good basic trauma kit, blow out kit, stop the bleed kit. Thanks for the tour of you bag. We all need to learn from each other.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I would recommend small bogota lock picks. Very easy to learn and terrifyingly effective.
no they illegal here in the UK
@@mellonmarshall my bad, USA has different laws in regards to lock picks
Amazing EDC! Great video! Thanks:)
Interesting and practical. What about wet wipes and paper tissue?
yep good video suggestion/ silcox key be sweet👍 water key.
Cool video I've got a bag similar you did an jinformative tour of your bag enjoyed it well done 😚
🥰 cute but too small for lots of stuff within , I prefer a cute messenger bag for all those stuff. 👍😜😎🇨🇦
