This was my 2nd dead show (and sadly my last) - have always loved this George Harrison tack. I remember seeing Pearl Jam at Soldier Field a week or so later and Eddie gave thanks to the grateful dead for letting them use their stage for the gig. Summer 1995 in Chicago was pretty darn cool!
This was the first bit played at the memorial august 16. I was standing next to a speaker when it roared into life and this blasted out. never forget. in real life I don't think I ever heard them do it despite shows from 73-95
Well, glad I tripped over this rendition in my youtube meanderings~~~ yet another layer to the glass onion of this multifaceted mellifluous MMMmmmmmmmuchroomuchroomuchtoomuchtoommmmm~~~~
Who's singing the lead vocal? In my "Beatles covers and uncovers" playlist with versions by Steve Hillage, Journey and The Church. Thanks for the upload!

Yeah, the final time until the next time.
Laurence Hawks I think it's safe to say it's the last time when a band's front man dies soon after
Horrendous. An absolute slap in the face of Dead Heads.
