This is so devastating to watch this now knowing that a lot of these people have been murdered or most of their family members have been murdered during the on going Genocide. It is tragic to think that their beautiful Villages and Cities architecture have been completely destroyed . I am grateful it has been captured as it was with the streets and Market Places so full of colours, chatter and of life with a steady energy that is both calm and vibrate. It's a prison bc it's militarily controlled from the outside. Any restrictions of basic freedoms would make you a prisoner, duh. The food, water, electricity is controlled by Israhell. They also didn't allow them to fish (getting their boats missiled if they went beyond the shore), or to collect rainwater, or to travel. They also restricted their ability to do trade or outside commerce, they were forced to use Isræli imports.
If they needed medical treatment outside of Gza, they were denied permits leading to people passing from cancer and other diseases. If they wanted to study, they would also be restricted permits. The futbol team qualified for the Olympics, they were denied travel permits and had to forfeit. The team also has been routinely targeted by snipers in their legs & torsos to injure them.
The community lives under surveillance that is direct (guards, cameras that peer directly into their homes, identity cards & Wolfpack Database) and indirect (AI facial recognition, hacking registries, hacking personal phones & computers). There's so much more, but yes this IS imprisonment. What should be awe-inspiring is that in SPITE of being restricted, Gzans were able to make the best of their circumstances. That should be admired, imagine how much better Gza would've been if not for Isræl's containment & occupation of their lives.

Therefore Gaza is essentially an open-air prison, where Israel exerts control over every aspect of life, including power and water supplies

I'm filled with sorrow watching this knowing these people are now displaced, many being killed, their daily lives, homes, schools, places of worship, hospitals are being destroyed. Anyone who has or whose people have been oppressed should all feel some kind of solidarity or at least empathy with the Palestinians.

Israel also comtrols what goes in and out and often places bans on items fpr e.g construct materoals. Israel also bombed most water desalination plants making Gaza dependent on Israel's mercy for basic needs like water electricity etc.
