As someone with the exact split playstyle and mindset i understand u fr, i literally also play with ghost tp and phase rush since they fit my playstyle the most but my items and boots choice is pretty different, might even build redemption and solari sometimes, knights vow is also underrated for its price, think about it if you'll start to teamfight more.
But yea riot murdered so many ways u could play darius.. the only reason i still play him as a splitpusher (i call my playstyle being an asshole to the enemy team) is i have no trust in my team at all so yk u have to make ur own impact and end the game by urself somehow.. Theres other champs that do this playstyle better for sure but not as enjoyable to play as darius so im always sticking with him, gwen, kled and lillia too sometimes if hes banned.
Also i watched pretty much all ur forbidden playstyles by now i believe ull cook something good for urself again
