Fun fact: RM replaced the line in original lyrics "give anything to hear half your breath" with "give anything to see half your face" where half the face signifies that half of our face is covered with masks 🥺 lyrical genius indeed. Also the korean rap that hobi and suga wrote are so beautiful. Along with the vocal line's amazing vocals, they did such an amazing job. So proud of them. 💜

I'm in the UK. They killed this performance. In the introduction when Adele Roberts asked why they chose the song RM said it was a tribute to the rapper Biggie but then said "we wanted to say we miss Armys ..... it’s a message to all the Armys all over the world". I had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat and I agree with Blaze, I've missed hearing BTS Singing and rapping in Korean. 😢💜💜💜

@@GillianThompson I was listening to it live on the radio. It wasn't an interview as such, just the introduction to the song. There is another programme on BBC 1 TV this evening at 22.30 which is 30 minutes long so may be more of an interview. I'm not sure if it will include the performances

I’m amazed by V’s voice. He can go from really low to really High beautifully.. His voice is the most stands out here. This song suit with his Baritone voice. although he is nailing with BTS’s Tenor songs, I hope he can showcase his voice like that in BTS song as well.

I loved Taehyung's voice the most in this song. His vocal really stood out, and as a baritone singing alongside tenors - he did a brilliant voice. Also, it's really impressive how he was able to transition from low to high in 0.5 seconds. Taehyung's range is NO joke!

As a life long Biggie fan, I was hesitant to listen to this cover. That song has so much meaning to NY and Hip Hop culture. However, I was glad I did. It brought back emotions. I reacted to this version the exact same way I did then, just a little older and a lot less teary eyed. So for that, I am pleased. I appreciate what they did and how they respected the original but still kept it true to their style.

I remember when this first came out and how moving it was to have Biggie's family there on stage when it was performed at the VMA's, this version is definitely up there with the feels. As soon as I heard that this was gonna be covered I knew that Jimin was going to NAIL Faith's vocals. And I'm so happy to hear Yoongi rap again

Many people that speak multiple languages have expressed the mental process of translating in their head before speaking English, and the challenge. English isn't a simple or easy language, and while I don't know Korean, I did learn some Japanese in college, and I recall realize just how odd our grammar is compared to many other languages.

They all did amazing RM rap in english, VMIN, JINKOOK, SOPE rapping in Korean and BTS singing and harmonizing together. I can't stop watching it, I'm beyond amazed. But I gotta say Jimin with those high notes and adlibs is pure angel but the best part is he makes me feel the emotion of the song. I felt really sad but it feels like he is there to comfort me.
