TH-cam has been having issues so unfortunately 360p is the only option until it fully renders. Other than that.. Happy New Year everyone! First video of the year, enjoy!
How does he put on the helmet without opening the front part?! No way I could do that with mine, makes me think it was at least a size too big for him!
Tyler nailed one important aspect for thinking twice about buying this helmet - uneven QC. I've experienced issues with products from others companies who may initially shrug it off, but in the long-er term quality control will determine the bottom line and even more telling, tarnishing a company's reputation. Of all of the reviews that I have watched, this is the one that is convincing me to shy away from buying this helmet. I examined it in my local Dainese store last Saturday, but I needed independent reviews such as this one. Thanks, Tyler.
Welcome back nick! Glad you’re back..i love your edits man. Tyler’s a badass on that kawi..one of my favorite videos! I think i told you before that you’re one of my inspirations for creating. Thanks again for featuring me early on bikergrid instagram..keep motivating us small youtubers man! All the best - adobo.
I will add that the some of the agv pista gpr helmets were cut in half..excellent helmet choice, and i got mine new for $790 shipped. Might want to consider it..i did a review on it on my channel. I switched from shoei to agv because of the gpr.
Hey Adam, Amen to that its not about the money only performance. Doctor bills and life long injures aren't worth saving a few hundred dollars. The agv pista is made in italy, I understand the price tag. Stay safe man!
@6:52: Looks like this helmet was one or two sizes too big for this particular reviewer. This undoubtedly would skew any such review, especially as it was only for one hours. Overall still a great video though....
Nick, I would like to know if the AGV Sport Modular is holding up? Any issues and approx how many miles have you ridden in it? Thanks in advance for your response!
Good point Tyler on how much of your dollar is going toward the construction and materials and design of the helmet and how much is paying for marketing...? In essence, could it be less expensive to the consumer if they didn't worry about marketing it ?
Maybe Tyler should go down a size on the helmet or maybe mess around with the cheek padding. I think it will improve the fit and also reduce wind noice. Groetjes uit nederland!
Hey! Depends on your camera but I recommend getting something like a Leica 12-60 2.8 or Canon 16-35. Another option I'd recommend is the Sigma Art series lenses, I'm planning on switching to those soon. Wide lenses work great for motovlogging.
Matte or Gloss? 🤔 I can't make my mind up which looks more authentic carbon Vs pretentious carbon? I cannot see it in person due to COVID. Please advise what everyone thinks? Matt or Gloss?
Great video and review! Really enjoyed watching. In regards to the helmet, Is it just me that thinks it’s a pretty ugly helmet in comparison to the Pista or even the Corsa?
Tyler - WTF? How much of your money is going to the helmet and how much is going to marketing? Really? You actually believe that Arai is any different in terms of that breakdown? Yes, they make their helmets in house. So what? Does that make it worth $1000+ (at least at MSRP)? I am not dissing Arai, as Arai Corsair's are the only helmets I own, but your logic is just plain wrong.

TH-cam seems to have fixed it's rendering issues. You do need to reupload the video i think for it to render with higher resolutions.

Yes its very tide im also put it on when its open only like that

Tyler nailed it! $850 for a made in china product with a questionable quality control. Nick, as always, awesome video! 👍👍

Definitely like the look of the AGV helmet, especially the Pista GP R helmet!

Great review Nick,Tyler never put a price on your head brother!!! Adam 🇬🇧

Tyler Scott absolutely agree 💯 bro life is precious and worth so much more than a couple hundred $ in your pocket!! You too stay safe dude 👍🏻
Enjoyed the video as always. I'm looking forward to the next video

Very nice review, he's extremely detailed

Groetjes uit nederland!
The helmet was slightly bigger than he normally wears mainly because this helmet was fitted for my big head lol
Nice review! I think the helmet is a little bit to big for the rider. It should be more closer to the cheeks.
What would be a good go to all around lens for motovloggers? I notice you use the wider lenses just tired of my kit lens lol

Get Tyler to review the Schuberth C4 Pro -specifically the Carbon version- as almost a direct comparison! 😎
Tyler is an Arai man I like that 👍🏻
Made in China is the deal breaker. I think I will stick with my Shoei
Heb je nu al een motor voor jezelf gekocht?
I guess I'll have to wait for C5 carbon ;o]]
Sir Really like you intro music . this is awsome
Thanks! Check out the artist "Roto." He makes great music.
Matte or Gloss? 🤔 I can't make my mind up which looks more authentic carbon Vs pretentious carbon? I cannot see it in person due to COVID. Please advise what everyone thinks? Matt or Gloss?
Go with gloss for a shiny / clean look. Go for matte if you want more of a discreet look
@@nickvandervegt haha true that!
Great editing
thanks
For the same cash you get the pista gpr in sale...
Awesome review, and I whole heartedly agree with Tyler's point about being made in China.
I think I'll stick with my Schuberth..
Great review....No BS...
Great video and review! Really enjoyed watching. In regards to the helmet, Is it just me that thinks it’s a pretty ugly helmet in comparison to the Pista or even the Corsa?
Good video☆
The helmet looks a bit loose for him
Interesting
Try to get a review on yamaha R1 M
It at 360p what's happening?!

do motovlog stuff dude
Once I get my bike :)
Made in China, that's a deal breaker!
Not SNELL rated...No track days for this lid.👎
Thanx for the vid.
No modular is SNELL rated.
he is wearing a size too big for him.. he literally just glide into the helmet...
dude, this helmet is way to big for him,he puts it on without opening it
I really want this helmet but made in China is ultimately why I won’t buy it.
So, this helmets are made in China? That's a bummer! I thought it is made in Italy or Ukraine!
Made in China? That's very disappointing for a helmet with this price point...
