The rice cup is not dirty, but there is food left to eat.
That's why the monk told you to pour some tea and drink it so you don't waste it.
    もったいない!

Well a reason to go back in the future. The fall season in Koyasan should be as beautiful as the cherry blossom season!

Hello.. I'm watching from the North of Thailand and I really enjoy it. I've never been to Japan and I've heard that Japanese people are highly disci plined and punctual. Wish you both the best time travelling in Japan.❤❤

Thank you so much!! 😊 The North of Thailand is beautiful! We really hope we can explore that area for a longer time once. And indeed, Japanese people are really disciplined! And I most say, I would say the same about Thai people 😄

Ha ha -- I relate about the baths. I went to a big hot spa in a Yokohama hotel and had to be naked with everyone. Apprehensive at first and then very soon, did not care at all. But if it were a small place, with just a few monks, that's a bit more tense!

Yeah right 🙈 I am still happy we were alone. A bit jealous on the people who don’t have any issues with these things at all haha.

Unlike Zen Buddhism, which is primarily focused on the cultivation of the mind, the Koyasan sect also has spiritual and occult aspects. People who like the world of Harry Potter will enjoy researching this sect in advance and visiting.

I stayed in the same temple (Yochi-In), and the same room even. The food there was so good.

    nagoya is a big city.
Nagoya is home to Toyota Motor Corporation.
Access from Nagoya is better than Osaka.
