+The Crow I paid $60 for the physical copy of Xenoblade about 8 months ago and it was the best $60 I've spent. I'm also really happy that the game came complete with the original case and manual with it as well.
Ever since I got the wii my mom bought me the game (along with mario) and ever since this game has changed and made me the man I am to today, to see part of my childhood get this much treatment brings a tear to my eye I’m definitely getting this game for the second time ( I skipped the 3ds port ) the moment it’s on the selves

I liked X's gameplay and exploration. They're more fleshed out. I kinda disliked the chapter by chapter story missions though. It didn't flow as smoothly as Xenoblade's story. I also wish some of the affinity missions were longer, or if we can have more of them because some characters weren't fleshed out enough. I think having 18 playable characters may have been overdoing it. Fewer characters with more in depth back stories are better than many characters with only a little back story.

Both games benefit in some areas. XC has a more varied and gorgeous world while X's world is bigger, more alive and better textured. XC has a better main story, better written characters and better humour while X has a bigger and better side story and a pretty good concept of the main story (too bad there are too many plotholes and the ending to make it work better). XC's combat is simpler, but feels more personal to each party member while X's is more dymanic, varied and customizable. XC's exploration feels more rewarding while X's is more managable. I agree, they're both great, although they do a lot of thing differently. And that's actually their charm.
It's because of Chuggaaconroy that this game is one of my favorites of all-time. XCX is a good game, but it will never live up the masterpiece that is this gem. I'm so glad that it's being released...again. More people need to experience this.

Is it just me, or was Chugaaconroy responsible for increasing this games popularity? Don't get me wrong, the game was well known before his let's play, but when he constantly talked about it in his videos and then finally sat down and let's played it, many things started to happen; X's name was revealed to be Xenoblade Chronicles X, Shulk being in smash, Xenoblade Chronicles 3d, Reyn Time being thrown back and forth (It was already a meme, but he increased it to be a bigger meme as it is). He is definitely the one who influenced many gamers to buy this game, and even gave away 30 copies of the game (No, I'm not joking, look at his reveal trailer for his let's play). Nintendo themselves even sent him a free super early copy of the game. And now its being re-released on virtual console. Say what you want about Emile, but this man is truly amazing.

Chuggaa is absolutely one of the main reasons this has gained popularity. I think the other reason is the hype train for Xenoblade Chronicles X. The majority of the streamers that I watch that are playing this played X first and are just now experiencing this game because they loved X.

I bought this and wanted to make note to people wondering that this can be played on the Gamepad using it as a controller not just as a screen. Also you can launch the game without having to enter Wii mode and it is also in 1080p so this is a bit more than your standard Wii port to Wii U, it's a Wii port actually done right and much better, wish they were all done this way, but just very glad they did this one this way for sure. More than just a standard port, they actually cared this time.

I am indeed attempting to finish both games 100%, I expect it to take around 11 months to do so. Although there is a chance I will unable to play as often as I do, if so it may take me roughly 1 to 2 yrs or to complete both games 100%

I love xenoblade X too but it's very different from the first xenoblade and it's very understandable that it is because they began development on X long before this game released in the west and before it got super praised and popular so they were still not sure what direction the xenoblade franchise should take. I just finished this game, is great! But definitly not better than ff... Is better than ff 13th but i think that isn't as good as any other final fantasy i van think Of.
If this was Final Fantasy XVI I'm sure you'll say "its one of the best games of the franchise", c'mon man, I played a bunch of jrpgs (when I say bunch is more than 30) and this one is top 5 for sure. Anyway, we have different opinions and I like that, but the soundtrack, the battle system and the plot is just amazing. Xenoblade Chronicles X was a bit of a letdown for me, but still a great game that I put 100h on it. Xenoblade 300 tho XD

Is it just me, or was Chugaaconroy responsible for increasing this games popularity? Don't get me wrong, the game was well known before his let's play, but when he constantly talked about it in his videos and then finally sat down and let's played it, many things started to happen; X's name was revealed to be Xenoblade Chronicles X, Shulk being in smash, Xenoblade Chronicles 3d, Reyn Time being thrown back and forth (It was already a meme, but he increased it to be a bigger meme as it is). He is definitely the one who influenced many gamers to buy this game, and even gave away 30 copies of the game (No, I'm not joking, look at his reveal trailer for his let's play). Nintendo themselves even sent him a free super early copy of the game. And now its being re-released on virtual console. Say what you want about Emile, but this man is truly amazing.
+Chappy Cow I think Chuggaconroy is one of the main reasons, if not the main reason why this game is getting recognized. A lot of people I've seen claimed this game their favorite of all-time because of his LP of it. I'm not exception. I love this game to death!
Chuggaa is absolutely one of the main reasons this has gained popularity. I think the other reason is the hype train for Xenoblade Chronicles X. The majority of the streamers that I watch that are playing this played X first and are just now experiencing this game because they loved X.

I bought this and wanted to make note to people wondering that this can be played on the Gamepad using it as a controller not just as a screen. Also you can launch the game without having to enter Wii mode and it is also in 1080p so this is a bit more than your standard Wii port to Wii U, it's a Wii port actually done right and much better, wish they were all done this way, but just very glad they did this one this way for sure. More than just a standard port, they actually cared this time.

I bought Xenoblade chronicles online right before the release of Xenoblade chronicles X. I'm planning to finish both games when summer comes

I am indeed attempting to finish both games 100%, I expect it to take around 11 months to do so. Although there is a chance I will unable to play as often as I do, if so it may take me roughly 1 to 2 yrs or to complete both games 100%

This game is fantastic. I love xenoblade X too but it's very different from the first xenoblade and it's very understandable that it is because they began development on X long before this game released in the west and before it got super praised and popular so they were still not sure what direction the xenoblade franchise should take. I think the third xenoblade will be beast

Notice how the HUD is actually large and readable. Wished they hadn't shrunk it down as small as the can in Xenoblade X all because "that was in HD now".
When people list what consoles this game is on after the Switch version was announced, so many people have no idea it's on Wii-U and only list the wii and 3ds version and say the switch is the 3rd, when it's the 4th =P
