This was an ad for me, and it made me remember how much I love learning about minerals.

Dogtooth Calcite is by far one of my most favourite formations of Calcite. I have yet to find one that I can afford & add to my tiny collection. The one with Calcopyrite looks gorgeous! Definitely on my do-want-list. Maybe even a Dragonscale Calcite, if I can find one!

Calcites I believe I've heard there's 800 or more forms of Calcite! I remember seeing a form that looks like a Creepy Flower in a horror show! So if Quartz is the Poster gem from having many many varieties as well as often having a highly diverse amount of different inclusions anf forms, Then Calcite is the Poster Gem for having so many forms that Quartz cannot stand a chance against! Such an awesome video :D

I never knew they're so many types of calcite gemstones and all of them are very unique and pretty.😯😃💎 My favorites are the Chinese calcite💗🌸💎 and the amethyst Geo with some inside.💜💎😍 It's very interesting to know them, can they really help your stomach ache? 🤔Nice bow low tie, the yellow color really stands out. Thanks for sharing and good video.🤗💎

Loved the varied calcite specimens, especially the China one that glows red under UV like the Franklin NJ type. Oh and grab that dangly cuff button before it disappears...lol

Calcite is the most diverse mineral, taking nearly every form and very symbiotic

I’ve got one large Chinese mangano poker chip calcite. I love how unique it looks like a shelf of stacked poker chips and it fluoresces. Don’t know how rare or common it is as I’ve not seen another in rock shows and have only seen two others online.

One of the themes running through Against The Day by Thomas Pynchon is the double refraction properties of calcite (called Iceland Spar and other names in the book). Since reading it, I always get excited about calcite crystals like the one in the beginning of this video.
