  • Ito ang video ko paano maglinis ng Throttle body assembly at Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) in the proper context of servicing. Itong unit is Toyota bB/ Scion xB na pwede applicable to Toyota Yaris Toyota Vios, Toyota Avanza at iba pa pero halos lahat ng sasakyan meron nito.

    Napansin ko po maf sensor cleaner gamit mo na panlinis? Ok lang po ba? Or mas ok kung throttle body cleaner?
    At ok lang po ba iopen ung butterfly ng throttle body? Wala po siya effect after mainstall, like rough idling? Please enlighten us po. Thank you.

      Dapat Throttle Body cleaner talaga kaso wala ako nun. Mas matapang kasi ang throttle body cleaner kesa MAF sensor cleaner. Mas marami lang na MAF sensor cleaner ang magagamit.
      Okay lang naman i opne ang butterfly during cleanign basta wag lang diretso metal to metal contact. Pwede lagyan ng basahhan ang screwdriver na pang bukas lang ng butterfly.
      wala naman epekto sa idling kung cimputer control.. automatic kasi dapat mag aadjsut ang ECU sa idle gamit ang IACV

    Sir paano mo natanggal ang iacv? bumibilog kasi mga screw baka masira.

    boss nag diy ako pag linis ng trottle ko toyota revo gas manual.after ko po malinis subrang taaas na po ng menor ko ano po kayang sanhi po noon may papalitan po ba akong pwesa o may i aadjust lang po

    Sir. Yung sa akin carb cleaner nagamit na panglinis ng iacv di pala okay yun. Tapos ilang linggo lang. Nagloloko n po rpm ko habang bukas aircon at kapag nakalagay sa drive or reverse eh nagwwild na rpm ko taas baba n halos umabot sa 2k rpm. iacv po ba talga cause nito? Wala rin kasi check engine at fault code. Maraming salamat po

    Good day paps pag lilinisan ang throttle body kailangan ba tangalin ang negative terminal ng battery, o puede rin di tangalin at yon throttle body cleaner puede ba sa pag linis ng MAF sensor salamat.

      Ideally positive terminal ang tatanggalin pero mahirap kasi may nakakabit na main fuse block kaya ginagawa ng iba, negative terminal nalang tinatanggal kasi mas madali. Eitherway dapat nakatanggal ang isang terminal sa battery para safe at walang mag sshort kung may mangyari man.

      yes. automatic dapat yan mag aadjust after a few drives pero pag hindi, try mo disconnect and reconenct ang battery

    Nagka cause ba ng check engine pag may sira idle control valve, pero umaandar pa rin ng maayos. Toyota vios

      pascan mo nalang kasi madaming causes ng check engine. Kadalasan pag IACV barado, mamamatay lang siya. pero pascan mo nalang baka sensor lang sira

    Sir tanong ko lang po toyota bb gen 1 ko madalas nag lo-low power pag apakan ang gasolinador walang hatak...kailangan ko pang patayin sasakyan tpos on ulit para bumalik ang hatak...lalo pag naka aircon ako sa byahe at puro paangat ang daan..ano kaya possible na sanhi nito....salamat sir

      naka on ba ang check engine light? kasi kung oo, pa scan mo muna. baka Oxygen sensor, maf sensor, or throttle position or transmission problem. Mas madaling ma diagnose yan kapag may scan tool.
      May mga components kasi na hindi naccheck ng ECU. Wag maniwala agad na dahil yan sa spark plug or injector dahil mmaliit lamang ang factor nyan sa lack of acceleration or hesitation. Unahin mo muna yung mga madadaling items tulad ng...
      air filter sa engine bay. baka basa o puno na ng dumi. Ipa air blower mo muna kung marumi lang at tsaka kung bumalik ang hatak, replace mo na ang filter. daat repace once a year to or every oil change, cleaning kapag di marumi.
      Check nyo naman ang gas pedal cable baka sira sira na o may dumi sa loob ng cable. Mararamdaman nyo yan kung madumi na dahil matigas sya.
      Tapos sa spark plugs, di naman gaano kalaki ang factor nila sa problema mo pero pwede mo ma check kung marumi na ang spark plugs. Replace kung black or carbonized na ang tip. Use quality spark plugs.
      Kung wala naman epek, try nyo MAF sensor cleaning, baka gaganda ang throttle response at mawawala ang lack of acceleration. May mga mekaniko kasi na hindi nagpapalinis nito pero dapat nililinis to kapag maraumi na. Nahihirapan mag reading ang ECU ng air intake at nag 'fail safe mode' na angg ECU kapag sobrang dumi nito.
      Tapos kung wala parin, sunod nyo i check ang fuel pump... kasi duda ko talaga fuel pump at fuel filter problema mo.. naghihina kasi ang fuel pump kapag pinapaandar na wala o konting gasolina lang sa tanke o low quality fuel ang naipasok sa tanke na may tubig. Para ma test ang fuel pump, Kailangan nyo ng pressure gauge para ma check: dapat 60 psi ang binibigay na pressure sa mga injectors galigng sa fuel pump. test nyo to pag naka ON yung ingition nyo. Kung 60 psinaman ang pressure check nyo naman ang fuel flow baka mahina. replacement talaga ng fuel pump or fuel line kung marumi na.
      Tas kung wala parin, try nyo check ang throttle body baka marumi lang. Need ng cleaning.
      Tapos kung ala parin check nyo kung ang fuel injector barado na o konti nalang anag buga nya. Injector cleaning lang yan muna pero kung malala na, replace..
      Last nyo na i check ang ignition coil.Check nyo ang ingition coil kugn gumagana. May mga videos paano mag test ng ignition coils- yung dinidiscnnect ng ilang segundo tas kung nguminginig, okay sya.
      Pls reply kung ano ang problema para alam ng atin mga ka BB owners paano ma diagnose agad. Salamat! Ingat sir!

      FI po ang engine? baka may idel up po yan check nyo po. Pero di po tlga ako sigurado sa lancer eh. sorry sir

    Sir, IACV ba ang problem kapag bukas ang AC is nababa ang idle ? Salamat.

      Normal lng pag bababa ng konti pero dapat di gaano mababa. 750rpm idle plus minus 150 rpm lang kung naka.aircon
      Pero pang nguminginig na ang makina, need ng throttle body cleaning. Linisan nalang din ang PCV valve at replace air filter kung sobra na ang itim.
      Kung di parin tumatalab, check IACV kung marumi para malinisan agad

    Sir toyota corola gli ko nilinis kuna,, iacv,, yong isang butas dati na pala may takip kc malakas minor nya,, yong papunta sa stering,, wala napo ba sulosyon ito need naba ng bago

      kung malakas menor nya, baka may butas sa intake or leak. try mo din check kung okay pa ba ang injectors or fuel pump baka di na consistent

      yes. may IACV din yan at throttle body pero iba lang ang position at baka mas madaling gawin sa revo. di ko kasi na try.

    Mahirap bang tanggalin yung IAC valve mula sa throttle body? Hindi kasi kasama sa video yung pagkalas.

      medyo. specialized screws kailangan pero nakaya naman. di lang napakita

      @@edge7375maayos po so far. lagyan lng po ng maliit na HI temp RTV silicone ang metal-metal contact para walang leaks.. bale thin gasket lang yung RTV silicone. As long as walang leak okay lang ang idle

      May auto relearn ang sasakyan, kung di siya gumagana sa iyo, disconnect positive battery terminal then wait for 1 minute then reconnect again.
      Mag auuto relearn dapat yan.
      and kung toyota ka, aabot yan ilang kilometers bago mag nnormal ang idle. Mag rerelearn lang yan. don't worry unless may check engine light baka may sirang sensor.

      ​@@khiravic2069 tanggal positive pin battery. wait 1 minute. then connect.
      kusa na syang mag rerelearn pero depende kasi inaanalyze ng ECU ang tamand optimal conditions based sa driving style mo.
      dont worry okay lang yan. ganyan din yung akin sa simula.

      baka sira yung IACV actuator mo, at di available yung mismong actuator at mahirap din i calibrate yung actuator, kaya buong IACV nalang pinalitan, mas madali, at halos parehas lang presyo.
