    at last, significant recovery and progressive works for the marine viaduct on the jb side after months of delay due to cracks since April! let's hope that the launching girder on the jb side will progress further to the international maritime border at pillar 47. talking about fully supporting the rts link using ktm komuter from the rest of johor, it's a very good initiative. by right, the ets trains should also do the same thing as the komuter by connecting it all the way from Padang Besar in the far north Perlis including Butterworth in Penang, Ipoh in Perak and the Klang Valley region. another good news is KTM to extend its ETS train service to Segamat starting 1 july, marking a stepping stone of the EDTP operations in Johor and later to Kluang, Kempas and finally JB in the near future.

      @SGYap  หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Totally agreed! The recovery pace at the marine viaduct at JB side was mind blowing! 2 full spans of the marine viaduct were completed within a period of about 5 weeks! The marine viaduct at Singapore side has not even complete 1 full span yet, this is so much faster compared to the Singapore side! It is certainly a very good initiative of using komuter service to support the RTS Link. The disappointing news was to switch from LRT to ART to tackle congestion. The proposed ART system is a hybrid network where some parts may be run on existing roads while other parts may be running on elevated structures like viaducts and bridges.

      Really hoping the ART will have its own tracks and additional coach cause there would be a surge of visitors after the rts is done

    • @SGYap
      @SGYap  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think likely there will be elevated tracks for ART within the city or built up areas while some parts of the ART may run on roads away from the city or built up areas.

    • @SGYap
      @SGYap  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There will be a lot more people crossing the borders once RTS is ready and this will create traffic problems at JB city area if the proposed ART system is not ready by then. For the Woodlands North side, should not be a problem as there is already a TEL MRT line connected to the RTS station.

    • @user-yk9fw7qc9p
      @user-yk9fw7qc9p 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Woodlands would be very congested during the peak hours, we have people going to Jurong and downtown areas for work. Rp students and travellers going to JB taking the TEL from the east side of Singapore. It will be interesting in the future.

What is the investment like, is the price of it same as in s.g for the vending machine? The skinheads issit from Johor woodlands checkpoint as regime that will be attacking woodlands health?

    Call me naive if you want to. I wish upon completion, governments or rich organisations on both sides would hold an appreciation buffet party in Johor and Singapore separately (chartered buses provided) to thank all these migrant workers. Businesses could sponsor goodies bags which consist of practical items like toiletries, packet drinks, biscuits, cough drops, etc. . Billionaires in JB and Singapore could give them an angpao worth RM$150 / SGD$50.
