I had 49 years as a print finisher in south west England, always good jobs well payed after serving a five year apprentiship as a bookbinder in the UWE. Now retired at 64 yrs old throuley enjoying it. I will leave you young ones to work six days a week sometimes 12 hour shifts eating lunch whilst running a A1 Stahl/MBO 32 sig folder or cutting A1 on a Polar. I couldent do it now.
@CNK2K the twin coater is used here as firstcoating Aqueous gloss, matte and the second unit is used for UV coating but when we do UV we just use a primer coating on the first deck.
how does it work with a twin coater in a packaging industry? I've always worked in commercial and never really saw a press configured with a twin coater. Im assuming the coaters are : one is gloss spot coating and matte spot coating?
Good video and it must be a sunday dayshift and overtime cause nobody else in in factory.I used to work overtime on sunday but after being out on saturday night my head was like THUMP THUMP THUMP
To Semsem Ramadan Sometimes it needs, trust me, espesially if you print Pantone colors with high ink coverage on high speed. I am a senior press instructor of Heidelderg presses.
During my career I've noticed that the people who state their credentials, especially at the end of a sentence were the most insecure people and rarely stayed employed at any one Printing company for any significant amount of time. Also, Heidelberg don't have Instructors, they have demonstrators. They have Demonstrators for their 20"Inch press, their CD 29" Inch press, their CD,CX Speedmaster 102 cm (40" inch) and of course their XL 145 and 162 cm Printing machines and the demonstrators I've met throughout the years all spoke English quite well, no offence.

Units 1 - 6 are printing units.
Units 7 and 10 are for aqueous and uv coating.
Units 8 an9 9 are drying units.
