i think it would be interesting seeing you two doing the other sister's things and see what kind of doll you could come up with, using your weaknesses. it could be like a challenge, just for you two but im also unsure how fun it would be considering i dont know how good barb is at drawing doll faces or how good alex is with sewing clothes. but in case you two ever want to appreciate your sister more for their skills, this would be one way to do it :p
Absolutely adorable! I'll steal the closure tip for the next cape I make and give one in return: I use a smal weaving frame when I absolutely need to have a scarf made if yarn. It turns out sleeker than either croched or knitted and I don't need to use sowingthread to make it to scale. I originally bought the frame to weave with pearls, but never got around to it.

As for the question about combining hobbies, I honestly feel like doll customizing is the best for that. It involves drawing/painting, sewing, yarn craft (for the hair), and crafting (for the accessories). Honestly, that's why I think I like it so much! I don't ever get bored with it, because if I'm not in a painting mood, I'll make some clothes, for example

I’ve used crochet for doll clothes before! It very much depends on the size of your yarn and hook, but crochet tends to make a very stiff and inflexible fabric at such a small scale. Structured tops, vests, and bags are very doable on doll scale with crochet. Scarves not so much, unless you maybe use a very tiny hook and yarn.
another hobby that apparently lends itself well to combinations is sculpting. tina yu just sculpted cookies and painted on a birthday cake, just wanna drop a recommendation for another aesthetically perfect channel for ya'll, i really hope she finds out about doll crafting and customizing on her apparent quest to try out all sorts of different crafts and media, she already has more than half the skills she'd need
