Gilick principle is about whether a minor is able to consent without parental permission, it's not about the scope of parental consent in minors. The two things are not the same. This is also not a required medical treatment. The young girl's womb is healthy. It's not really a treatment consent issue. Parents don't have rights over their children's bodies. To be asked to advocate for the mother is difficult.
Wow that answer on the mother and daughter was complete rubbish...too much from her philosophy class and not anything on the points of law and their application.
Almost all chambers will give pupillage to non-law undergraduates so specific legal knowledge wouldn’t be expected. Where she fell down was justifying her arguments (as well as coming up with three)
you can underfill a position. start as an assistant barrister then time will make up for the failed score. lower steps in descending order are junior and apprentice.
from watching the 1st minute here, anna doesn't have what it takes to be a barrister in my opinion, the other 3 do. its clearly the wrong profession for her. also she's not being herself and it really comes across on camera.

Another of Anna's problems is based on her body language. You never cross and recross your legs nor stroke or tap them with your hand or fingers, especially if you are a female. Those are sexually attracting behaviours and are negative in an interview. How do I know? I am a Clinical Psychologist and picking up on and understanding body language is part of our interviewing techniques. Keep your feet firmly planted on the floor, do not cross them, nor recross them (as pointed out already), do not open them very far, and do not move them about (i.e. fidgeting). By the way, the subtitles are very poor as a lot of the English is incorrectly presented. 'nuf sed.
