Saw these guys many times back in the day. Met them in St. Louis. When Eric signed my poster he asked my name. I'm 6' 5" and at the time weighed 265. When Eric handed my poster back, he had signed, "To *****, the real Mr. Big." That he took the time to ask my name and make it personal REALLY impressed me.
If Bump Ahead had only been released 5 years earlier, I'm convinced it would've gone to sell millions... MR BIG at their pinnacle. As good as they ever came.
When I was 15, I used to do my homework listening to Mr. BIG songs. All these songs really give me a nostalgic feeling. Now one final show is left to be uploaded.

Eric never gets the love he deserves when people talk about Mr. Big. Such a fucking great voice!!! His vocals are as good as the rest of them are on their instruments :) Also, RIP Pat. What a sweetheart and a monster drummer ❤
here is the story. about 10 years ago somewhere on the net I found this release. the official dvd release does not include the 2 tracks ("wind me up" and "alive and kickin') and additional material. the recording i posted is a japanese television recording that has not been officially released. it includes these as well 2 tracks and a lot of additional material. many years ago I downloaded it. it was in the form of a dvd on two discs (obviously someone made it himself. there are typos in the names of the tracks). at that time there were only truncated official recordings on youtube. and here are a couple years ago my hdd died. I went to youtube and found that someone posted a recording similar to mine. only the sound was constantly lagging in it and it was still shorter than mine. as soon as I did not look for my recording option on the network, everything is useless. I was very upset ... but a couple of days ago I came across a 12 volt power supply and I remembered that I had a very old external hdd somewhere. I connected it and found this concert among a pile of rubbish !! saved it there just in case! and just converted it and uploaded it here! a really rare version of this concerto. very glad that I accidentally found it after so much time)

@@MrDarkyl no, that was Lion featuring guitarist Doug Aldrich - White Lion hit the charts with songs like Wait & When The Children Cry - you really have to check them out if you do not know them by now because they are up there at the very top of the best hard rock bands ever
Pat Torpey is very solid drummer and we all know how great Gilbert is, but I have to say that Sheehan has absolutely mastered his instrument. I know not everyone likes his style, but if you listen his playing during the songs, he adds just right amount stuff into the songs and only goes crazy with the soloing etc. when its needed.
The drill solo was insane. He even used a Makita drill which was very impressive and always gave a triplet feel and even 6/8 at times. So revolutionary.
Damn! Them harmony vocals on "Green Tinted Sixties Mind" & "Just Take My Heart" brought me to Tears.. Pat Torpy's Vocals and Drum skills are Amazing!

Green Tinted Sixties Mind is so underrated. That intro tapping riff is so smooth and melodic, then they all sing on the break. Top shelf musicianship!
