Tamhee is not only a great mom and cook, but a beautiful soul inside out. Thank you Fun Staurant for this amazing show and family, not only your show is about cooking and Korean meal, but also teaching about life - and that's what make your show is different than others!!! Great job and thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm curious is Korea culture to talk casually (banmal) with their family? If any Koreans or any person have knowledge on this, let me know please

correct me if I’m wrong, but apparently parents tend to use banmal with their kids because it’s their kids, and not someone older than them, so they don’t have to use formal language. And kids tend to pick up your language and way of speaking when they’re growing up and learning to talk etc. so them speaking formally at home and making the kids speak formal at home is a nice way to teach their kids mannerism.

i use banmal when talking to my parents but i think every family is different. idk i think its weird to speak formally to your parents but maybe thats because i grew up in america.
