- We are selecting Girl Cadets for RDC, at unit level. This is mainly for Rajpath, PM Rally and Guard of Honour competitions that take place during NCC Republic Day Camp in New Dehli. The selected cadets will be trained to participate in IGC (inter group competition).

Ma'am this is not fair to remove those students who are short heighted. Atleast this isn't their fault! This is due to genetics and I'm so ambitious to be a part of NCC and participate in th RDC camp but I don't reach 155 cm that doesn't mean my performance will lag behind from others. This scenario should be improved ma'am bcz this height based selection may exclude the real talent and take the chance from those students who are really dedicated for this service! just because of their short height!
You are right. It is not their fault. Unfortunately, at Rajpath, only cadets of a specific height can parade. However, these cadets can take part in RDC cultural programme, where there is no height restrictions. Even Junior Division cadets can take part in that.
You can also go for RDC Best Cadet competition. No height restrictions there either.

Maine bhi mam RD camp traning ki hui h lucknow tk . Meri rank senior Under Officer thi.Mera age bhi selection ho gya tha mam lekin mujhe mna krna pda age nhi ja pai .Kuch problem ki vjh se problem nhi bta skti pr nhi ja pai.main bhut roi thi us wqt .Aaj mujhe wo pal bhut yad ate h mam.
