u should explain the infundibulum and hiatus semilunaris better than this. let`s imagine that u have a semilunar pocket in your pants. the opening of the pocket is the hiatus semilunaris and the cavity of the pocket is the infundibulum. so the hiatus semilunaris is a 2 dimensional space forming the entrance to a 3 dimentional space which is the infundibulum
