I know it's not likely, but I'd LOVE to see a Mavs/Suns Conference Finals. Watching KD&Book go basket for basket with Kyrie and Luka would be fun as heck to watch.
We’ve never won a chip. The risk is worth it if we can win just one. It’s not a failure if we don’t win it this year, but it is a huge failure if we don’t win next year.

The note about the nuggets being "unproven" in the playoff is interesting to say because in the last 4 playoffs they had a younger jamal murray in the first two and were a game 7 away from the conference finals by losing to portland. Then in the buble they lost to the ventual champion lakers in the WCF... along the way jokic and murray were two of th emost clutch playoffs in those playoffs. With a bench starting lineup that included Will barton, Facundo campazzo, austin rivers and aging jeff green jokic still managed to dismantle the trail blazers in 6 two years ago and then lost to the eventual western champ suns by being completely outmatched. last year the nuggets once again didnt have murray or porter and played a decent series against GSW (finals champs) for what its worth. I can somewhat understand the thought that the nuggets are "unproven" this year but i wouldn't say its from a lack of playoff experience, more of a lack of health.
Last 3 playoffs they lost 1-4, 0-4 and 1-4. Everybody deals with injuries. Suns lost the finals because of an injury to a big man. They had no depth and refs just constantly give calls to Giannis putting players in foul trouble. Definitely weren’t any pity parties for them and I would say they got more disrespect for that loss lol. Nuggets have size and length which should translate into being competitive. Problem is the defense and track record.
@@TennesseeTipthe suns didn't lose the finals because dario saric got hurt. the bucks were just better. They get "disrespected" and made fun of because of the personality of their team. No one likes Chris Paul's antics except the team's fans he's playing for. I agree that clearly the nuggets are competitive but i wuold also say they are so much more. If you put the exact roster the nuggets have onto the lakers the media and tune of things would be so much different if every other thing over the p[ast 5 years was the same for the roster and it was just the lakers. That's the difference being a mid market team. If the lakers were the number 1 seed with the exact same roster construction as the nuggets. The exact same players and story over the last five years everyone would not being saying the west is wide open. They would be saying it goes through the lakers. That is one crappy part of the history of the leage and the brand of big name teams in the media.
@@reynaldochavarria4226 I watched every second of that series. That is absolutely the case. He shot 85 free throws in 6 games!! Suns went up 2-0 out the gate. Then it was a series of Giannis on the line and our guys on the bench in foul trouble. If Ayton was on the bench we had nothing to replace him with. The only advantage the Bucks had was their size(rebounds) going into that series.
Please someone tell me the last time a team traded 2 core rotation players for a superstar at trade deadline and then won the title. Don't strain yourself.
Well... It's a lot more nuanced than that. But, good try. Also, Durant also came to the Suns with a rotation player capable of firepower. So there's that.
I can't name one but that doesn't make your point. Like I said, it's more nuanced. You have to consider the organization, the fact that this is all time great, and many other factors. It isn't as simple as "never happened before so not going to happen". That's a flawed way to look at it.
Yeah Jokic got in his feelz that series. I remember him hammering Cam Payne in the face on an inbound when the game was a blowout and the series was pretty much over. I’m pretty sure he got ejected for it.
@@sammyjoseph2040 exactly. They roster not even that good plus kd still not even available to play I don’t know why folks just jump to team to team like that. The warriors can still knock off the suns imp the clippers are more likely to win vs the suns

@starrynight2311 and traded their best defensive wings. Have absolutely no depth or D anymore. Only way they will survive is sit their stars and hope they make the playoffs so they are actually healthy.
@@Gdfsandoz They upgraded from Bridges, to KD. Cam is the only wing position they lacked but got TJ Warren and Terrence Ross in return. Not to mention, they may get Will Barton from the Wizards.
They didn't lose their bench. They lost one starter. The other was swapped for KD. Crowder didn't even play all season. He was paid to sit at home. And the other starter sat most of the season. His replacement covered his role pretty nicely and he got some reps. The bench is still the same. I think the difference between KD's defense and Bridges is more than made up for with his offense and gravity on the court. People act like KD can't defend anybody, Ayton, Booker and CP3 are plus defenders, alongside Okogie and Craig and even Bazely they shouldn't struggle defensively. They have more depth with Cam Payne (went to the finals with the suns), Landry Shamet (played alongside KD when they almost took out the Bucks that same year), Damion Lee (led the league in 3 pt shooting% for most of the yr), Terrance Ross, TJ Warren
You're clearly repeating what the Media is saying. Mikal and Cam were starters. Cam was out for more than a month because he was injured. Crowder didn't play at all this season. Yet before the trade they were Top 10 in defense. So you're trying to tell me that they were Top 10 in defense simply because of Mikal? Um no. It was their bench who contributed as well. You know the very same bench they have now.
Why is the sky on ESPN and what qualifies him to be talking about basketball did he play in the NBA? Did he coach in the NBA the way he talks he's completely unintelligent about the game of basketball. Nick should not be talking high school basketball..
Their bench is just fine idk why people keep saying this. They had the same bench players the entire season except they added Bazley, Warren, and Ross.
