Recently discovered this enjoyable British sitcom starring Jack Wild. If only his show lasted more than a season, Ron Moody and Mark Lester from "OLIVER" could have made guest appearances.

Jackie from childhood to now, you've never left my mind and heart. My only regret is not having met you, but I'm sure one day, I will. Thank You...for everything.

He died in 2006 - 53 years old from oral cancer - tongue and part of his voice box removed so the last 2 years of his life he was unable to speak at all. An alcoholic from 21, several cardiac arrests, and other health issues....and a smoker...he did try to quit. it's sad..

He died, nothing after...no transitioning... no other side you sad f****r - no one who was ever born here has left here when they died, well, unless they died in space...but more importantly..everyone who has ever died has decomposed and become part of the earth and this Earth...take a deep breath...that's a bit of Shakespeare right there in the air around you ...we transition to nowhere..but we transition to worm meal or food for worms..and we sustain the ecosystem and we become part of the cycle/circle of life here and in that we are immortal and in no other sense..

@@loonylinda Yes, he did in 2006 but then you know that as there's this amazing thing called the internet where you just could've Googled it and shared the information like a sort-of normal-ish person might..and you probably did Google it and then decided to give us this non piece of information or were you just too lazy to do a 10 second search but then also the original person could have done that too...a lot of lazy people who can't spend 10 seconds Googling something/someone..can you lot even find your way to work...ah stupid question...do you even have a job...
Don't bother replying - I never look at replies as you lot really have nothing of worth to say..

Learn maths whilst watching a bit of Jacks acting? That’s a plus! (Pun maybe intended)

Random, my family are from Oldham, like Jack. he and my Mum were in the same nursery school class, I think my Grandparents knew some of his relatives.

That's a wonderful story. Does your mum have any memories of Jack Wild from Nursery? How awesome it would be if you were able to trace some of his relatives and reestablish that old family connection!

@@maxim1-h4e the only thing my Mum told me is that when the children were dropped off at the school by the parents the teacher came to collect them and if my Mum wasn't there Jack didn't want to go into the school 😆

£18:20 for a quarterly bill. Love these Everyday Maths programs making education fun.

Adjusting for inflation that's under £100 per quarterly bill! Those were the days. I'm paying almost double that per *month* for gas now.

Just think though, if you had to watch something at school, this would be OK, and everyone wanted to watch the TV rather than have the rest of the lesson.
