Italian Backroads | BMW R1150GS | RAW ONBOARD | 4K

Ciao! :)
I was in Italy and Slovenia for 3 days and I had the opportunity to ride around a bit.
This is the second of 3 RAWs you'll see from that time.
Italy during june can be extremely hot already....we had up to ~32°C most of the time.
Some words over the good old 1150...Are the newer GSes better? Of course! Are they worth double or three times the money? NO, not at all. At least not for me!
As you can see in the video, the 1150 is alright for more or less fast backroad carving. It definitley needs another exhaust tho...:)
All in all, the 1150 isn't for everyone! You should be able to do most mechanical jobs by yourself, otherwise it's getting expensive very, very fast...
Anyway, enjoy the lovley flat sound of the boxer!

You will! I bought a new Storm (Mivv) exhaust, but it's not that big of a difference between the stock and the Storm...it's starting to get better after 200km tho...but still far away from the noise my 1190 with the Giannelli produces :D

I totally get the vibe of these. I bought a r1100gs not too long ago. Only bought it because it was cheap. it is not that impressive looking at the specs (even back in the days) but there is something about it that makes it so enjoyable to ride, I take the longer way to the office every day just so I can hit a few more corners. So satisfying throwing that big old lump around.

Yea, it's really impressive how easy those heavy bikes handle, when they start rolling. And it is even more satisfying when you smoke some of those really expensive bikes with like double the HP with your 20 year old brick :D
