First of all this song was not his choice according to his interviews in the Philippines. It was Simon’s team that chose the song for him with the approval of Simon. He did that sing several times in his concerts. He said that is not a good choice especially for contests more so for finals. The judges’ comments were staged seems like. You can see his face there was no joy. And to top it all if you are not aware of the controversies about AGT I recommend you to watch a channel called Reactors to the World subtitled “Faked. Simon Exposed “. This guy has been probing the talent shows especially AGT for many months. Even attended some of the shows. He made a series of videos about it. And also another reactor named Dublirious. Very very illuminating. Now I suggest you have some fun with Marcelito Remote Control challenge at the GGV show. It is in Tagalog but you will get the gist of it. Have fun😁🙏 t
