I've owned two jeep cherokees 92 and 99 an 84 Cj7 and a 99 wrangler and now a Hummer H3. I fish, camp and kayak and all these vehicles have been excellent off road in my opinion. You can't beat a Jeep before they became a soccer mom transports.
Jeeps are cute. Barbie owns one.
My dream was to own a Hummer H2 pickup, but my financial means did not allow me, but with determination and persistence, I will have one.
H2 don't have beds. H3 do

These are all H3s... they are less capable than the H2s, and H1s, yet they made it up.
Why are people hating? What is the point of hating? If you don't like this vehicle then don't buy one... Other than the purpose built jeeps that are specific to rock climbing or mudding, or trail blazing, most of them are cheap every day vehicles for chicks and dudes that wear their collar popped. Plus the people that have purpose built jeeps aren't gonna talk trash on other vehicles getting over obstacles like this.. because they knowthe point.. GET OVER THE OBSTACLE! if you can do it in a smart car then hey cool more power to you..
I've a 2015 Rubicon and rarely trail with other guys because of the attitude. Prefer to wheel alone even if it means taking less risks. Even within the wrangler community there's judgement according to your build. Who cares about the brand or your build, as long as you enjoy yourself.

Funny how people in the comments section keep saying "over priced hummer" Have any of you priced a Rubicon lately? similarly equipped 4 Door jeep is 40k easy. Before you start adding things to it. the Wrangler has a better approach angle for sure. the H3 has lots of advantages over a Jeep. and I'm sure the jeep has many advantages over the H3.
that Land Rover is a discovery 2. it looks like a G4 model. a very rare collectible truck. the fact that he's feeling it at all is pretty impressive. the rack and a snorkel all would have came on there if it's a real G4. all of these guys should have aired down

LOL. We have have the same problem in Cali but slightly different. That is when you live on the hill and one of the neighbor's wife start to drive a hummer. Its all the mail boxes that grow sideways... Must be genetic related to the root of those trees in Utah!!!

Do some research before you try to talk smack about how expensive hummers are. I got an h3 alpha. That's the beefed up v8 version with all the extras with a great warranty for just over 25,000$ so unless your jeep cost under 5,000 dollars.....

Hummers are great vehicles but their sheer weight is the Achilles heel for rock crawling.
Wranglers are much better on rocks.
