Imo overall i believe (we) Barnsley deserved the win as we dominated wrexham in the first half apart from the first 10 minutes or so and even though i admit you had a better second half than us , we still managed to hold on for the win , just like you managed to catch us off guard at your ground and grab a late win. As happy and pleased i am that (we) Barnsley held on for the win and broke our curse of not winning at home, until we beat you , its just ashame Humprys couldnt score to make it 3 for us. However we held on to the 2-1 as i predicted and that's all that matters as it got us the win i believe we deserved. Therefore i think a 2 -1 win for Barnsley and a 1-0 win for wrexham is a fair result in the end. Come On You (Super) Reds BFC ❤️🐶🔴⚪️⚽️.
So the way I see it is when we played Wigan we had 3 or 4 opportunities from free kicks and did nothing. Brunt apparently ill, so they brought in O’Connor for dead ball shots but left in O’Connell when it should have been Scarr in defence in my opinion.
Still don't get the Palmer 'thing'. Until someone can adequately explain his 'non scoring/defensive striker' role to me, my opinion is that Palmer doesn't score nearly enough goals for Wrexham. With that in mind, Böðvarsson deserved much more time on the pitch to make his case. Parkinson knows way more about the game than I ever will, but that doesn't mean he is right about everything.
