We will crowd fund you if you put it up. There is such a HUGE need for someone that cares to make a moto game

Such a bummer. I used to play MSMX2 and got pretty good, top 100. And this game inspired me to start making games myself. With NO knowledge of Unity or Blender or Coding. I just got the programs and started learning/messing around. 3 years later I have something that's very close to resembling a finished game. Although not exactly in the MX arena, but truck racing. I didn't want to compete against something that was already really cool and I knew would just get better. Knowing what goes into making a game like this gave me SO much more respect for all types of games, even "crappy" games. You guys are very talented and hard workers and I wish you the best. If I had the money to fund this, I totally would. :(

Thanks for the kind words! Good luck on your project. Don't give up! You'll get better and better with every new project.

I buy every mx game for this reason, sorry to hear you're having issues. This was a similar issue with Embracer Group and THQN/Rainbow. From my perspective, it would have been nice to support you guys in someway with early access/content creation/marketing, but there was no option to help drum up support by the looks of it. It's tough out there for MX games unless you're a very small team that choses the community modding path to avoid licencing fees etc... IMO this isn't great for the motocross industry in genral either so... 🤷

It's a small niche sport, in a gaming industry that has been completely taken over by Venture Capitalists attempting to squeeze profit, instead of making games because there is a sustainable amount of people who would play them. They killed passion projects in return for profits, in a sense.

It's less about making fun games these days and more abuot making money, unfortunately. I hope someday we can make a fun premium console and PC moto game. 🤞

They chose the community modding path because who wouldn’t love to play a motocross game that they can make and play their own tracks. So your statement is just invalid not to mention they weren’t gonna allow graphics or gear or anything other than tracks to be modded, with that being said you don’t need licensing to create a track, so not really sure what you’re going on about. They could make any track they wanted themselves and not have to pay anything unless they planned on using certain tracks names so like I said nothing to do with licensing.

@@stumpy21 it's far more nuanced than that.

A PC/Console game backed by the Turbo team would be every moto-game fan's dream. Fingers crossed it is something that can still happen sometime in the future!

Another idea I have is possibly asking a couple of y’all’s favorite publishers or the ones that are the most likely to change their mind or that were already close, and asking them how many people would it take signing a petition saying they would buy the game at launch for “$30” ( or whatever the price of the game is planned to be. For them to support yall in what you’re doing. I ain’t got 2 mil laying around but I’d love to help spread the world or whatever we as the community could do to help.

Dude. I hope that the new transactions model with the team jams helps get this off the ground. I’ll keep spending, you keep pushing!

The milestone games peaked years ago with Supercross 1 and MXGP 3 for myself. Bought a couple after and will likely never touch the series again. Sorry your ambitions for a cool game fell on deaf ears. Keep pushing folks.

You can see the sadness in their eyes, i was so ready for it... Wish you nothing but the best!
PS. Crazy to think that a very nich Sim game like Mx Bikes is the benchmark, that shows how the physics of all the other games are quite crap tbh

Would crowdfunding the development work? Seems like other games have succeeded in getting the funds for development via Kickstarter.

We've discussed it, but it would be unlikely to reach out goal, I think. We'll see what happens in the future. It looks bad if you launch a Kickstarter and fail though. Then in the future publishers will just say "clearly there was no market for it since your Kickstarter failed."

Someone should do a MX sim in a I racing format, there are so many good moders out there what a bummer, the publisher dont see how big MX games are .

    • @Turborilla

Idk if this suggestion would help any, but what if y’all start some sort of fundraiser cause the motocross gaming community wants this game. Let us the consumers donate and fund the game with no expectations of repayment as long as yall make the game free.

I guarentee this game would've sold. 100000%. The MX game space is obsessed with ultra realism and its getting boring, Mad Skills reminded me a lot of the older MX vs ATV games. Im bummed.
