do you use a hand sand scoop. if so what type me california. i have a gold monster. use the bigger coil go to the beach. see what happens. i have seen people get nice chains ,bracelets rings. to hot lately to go look for gold. have a good day.

I typically go out as deep as I can comfortably walk. Usually up to my neck. I keep all of the good stuff for display cases and gifts for friends and family if its something that I won't be able to find the original owner.
No offense Shawn, but when you say it's silver, nobody would set a diamond in silver. It could be white gold or platinum. I don't like gold. I like white gold, platinum and silver. So if I ever did get a diamond it would never be in gold. Just sayin'. ✌ from Boston

It can definitely be a pain in the butt, but a nice hard layer of shell will trap the good stuff!

I use a Stealth 720i hybrid scoop with an Xtreme brand carbon fiber handle. It does the job well in chest to shoulder deep water!

I almost always know when it’s foil, but I’ve found nice gold pendants in the past that sounded identical. Gotta dig them!

Nah. We're not food to them. They swim among us all day every day and most people have no idea they're there
