Hi Marya Bour, I used the yarn from my previous project. The thickness of the thread is about the same as Red Heart Bamboo (color: 0275 coral) / Weight: size 10 / yards: 300 (274 m) (interunet.com/crochet-short-sleeve-cardigan). Happy crochet!

Hi Maddy Maddy, I used an extremely fine yarn for the project. You may adjust your gauge by using a thicker yarn and larger size crochet hook (interunet.com/crochet-lace-bolero?page=9). To be on the safe side, you may crochet a small sample to learn your gauge. You can read about it in the comment section. The other option is to add one repeat to each front part and two repeats to the back part. Happy crochet!
Hi Maddy Maddy, For both x and xl sizes, I would work 210 chains or (13 x 16) + 2. Then I would work three repeats for each front part and 6 repeats for the back part. To make the top slightly bigger or smaller, use a larger/smaller size crochet hooks. Happy crochet!
