Jim, I been watch how other CNC builders do their various work on metal, wood, plastic. The idea of tape an CA to hold the workpiece is a stroke of genius for the work you do. You never have to plan to work around a clamp or worry about damage to tooling.
I get a lot of criticism for this technique, but once you understand what it can do and how much it adds to the bag of tricks, it can be very helpful; I'm not sure about genius, but ill take it.
Because he doesn't build the instrument by hand. People who commonly see videos about lutherie are: luthiers, musicians, people who understand or want to know about instruments building, or are in the process of making one. they wants to see skill, trade secrets and construction details (especially in a obscure instruments like this) not a machine cutting wood. This is a little hypocritical, because practically every mass-produced musical instrument, goes through one of these machines in more than one part of its production, and we don't question this fact, when we pay thousands of dollars for a taylor or martin for example. I'm a luthier, and in my work i use almost 80% hand tools, but its ok to me build an instrument using a cnc (i don't have one) specially if you want to lower your production costs, to make a particular instrument a little more accessible machining some parts. But (in my mind) if you can't do it first 100% by hand (or 80% you can use a router), you can't call yourself a luthier.
@@luisverdugo7305 There are not sympathetic strings on this instrument. I'm working on a design that does include sympathetic strings; I hope to make another series soon.

Intrigue. How then to get sawdust and sawed off particles from the inside?
I just use compressed air for the dust, and tweezers for bigger pieces.
Where can I get the cosntruction plan?
There is a fusion 360 file with all the cad and cam on my Patreon
