The folks at Craftsman should put you on their payroll! I read the manual and was more confused than when I started. I spotted your video and less than 10 minutes later, I feel like a pro. Thank you especially for explaining how to attach the extension cord and what to do if an electrical cord is too thick. The way that Craftsman describes it in their manual, I thought I might need to buy some kind of proprietary "plug". Your video clarifies this in a few seconds. I am grateful!
Replaced my older (2004) model of this trimmer because the blades finally dulled out more than desired. Has never stopped working though. Only feature difference that I miss is that trigger lock on the older version would actually lock the trigger for you so you can get into hard to reach places with one hand and less stress on that hand. Probably a safety issue that caused the change.
First use I did most of my hedges then on the last few the blades locked up, tried lubing and apply pushing pressure at tip end and its starts but seizes. under warranty and Craftsman sent a replacement. looking reasons it stopped before using the replacement. I did have a thicker branch lock it up but cleared it but wasn't the same after that.
Thx for the review. Just purchased one of these , unfortunately I paid double what you did in today's economy but the bushes are getting out of hand. Have a great day ✌️
I got a older version of those trimmers, no saw though. I used them for years, but finally bought gas trimmer, got tired of pulling a cord around , and I cut it a few times.
I got the same trimmer to-day. When you first pulled it out of the box, what was the thing hanging from the handle/control end?🤔 I don't think mine had that. Thanks 🤓

Was hoping to see how the power saw at the tip worked....
Followed your instructions, and had no problems. I was able to trim my hedges in no time. 😊
Very helpful. I'm not so good with tools. Thanks God for TH-camrs like you!

Ok i💓💗this tutorial you helped me install. I Just want to say thank you 🙏
Thanks . I just brought one a few days ago.🙏
Thank you! I needed this!
What are your recommendations for the extension cord? What is the amperage? Is 13 better or 15? Or less will suffice?
2nd year of use and motor whirls but blades don’t move? Gear?
Got mine last week trimmed the bushes. But today it won't start
Amazing!!!thanks
Thank you!
You know..... That cutout in the handle... That's there to feed the cord through then loop it in place so it doesn't come unplugged
You know... He said his extension cord was too thick so he looped it around the handle instead... 😒
I used it twice before it seized up and stopped working
Manual directions were terrible! Just ridiculous! Thank you so much for your easy to follow instructions with video! Whew!
I would keep the cord behind me.
Battery operated
