Takeo Ischi / Ishii / 石井健雄 - The Country Bumpkin

This video was produced in cooperation with Belbird Productions and Rubin Records. The lyrics and music for the videomix is a rearrangement of a song of the same title translated from German found on Takeo Ischi's "The Chicken and the Egg" album. Although Takeo Ischi is the main artist, the artist whose singing voice and yodeling gives life to the whole, the video is a group effort depending on the talents of many individuals, on Marc Alpina for the music, on Steffen Müller for the music's arrangement into something more suitable for a music video format, on Noboru Suzuki for the video's concept, on Arjun Nepali for the artwork, and on Bijay Thapa for his splendid editing. It is our hope, both in Germany and in Japan, that people everywhere will find good cheer and a bit of hope during these difficult times. This is our gift, that of Belbird Productions and Rubin Records, to people everywhere, especially for those who are suffering on account of the current health crisis and the economic hardship so many of us are facing. One last thing, we would like to express a word of gratitude to Takeo Ischi for giving the world yet another reason to laugh in spite of the misery so many of its inhabitants. Takeo, thank you for working to make the world a little bit better than it would otherwise be!
