Just the tutorial I needed thank you I've just brought a foam mattress in a box I need this to go down the side of my bed as I'm forever smacking my head against the wall despite all the cushions along the length I had one but my sister needed it back I'm off to get the material tomorrow

Hmm... It started O.K. Then you just zipped through and I still can't figure out the panel(s) measurement. It's confusing. This tutorial is for someone who knows a lot about sewing this sort of thing. I know some things but you lost me on the side panels and ... what about the corners?

Please measure the side thick
Measure the length
Measure the width

Its depend to your mattress size
Queen size need 3 and half yards with 94 width fabric

Hello,measurements depend to ur matres, first measure the length of ur metres,second,the width, 3rd the thickness.
About the zipper 94 inches long so u can comfortable to put the cover and attach the zipper with two ply,example the thickness is 5 inches cut 3 inches 2 pcs with 94 long.
