Yeah, that’s steep! I tried tackling one of my hills with a bucket full of rocks and forgot I was in 2wd. When she started running away with me I almost panicked! Had to drop the bucket and engage 4wd so I had brakes. 😂
Here in the mountains of WV I just leave my BX in 4wd unless I go on the asphalt. As far as running around the yard and garden and everything else it’s fine in 4wd
Welcome to my world Logan. I mowed some of the pasture with my 2520 John Deere. It was so steep that it would slide down nose first. I would drop the bucket curled back and use the friction from that to slow the roll. I did not video that because the safety police would have issued a warrant for for arrest and execution
That's pretty steep! Any idea what the slope is? I used a board and iPhone app to find out the slope of our pond....yours looks waaaay steeper....like 40 degrees or more.
Slope is a formula of rise over run. If the back tires start to rise, you jump off and run LOL! It's steep but it gets way worse in other places. I wouldn't try it sideways. No way.
We don't particularly care for johnson grass because we have heard it isn't the best for horses.. I am not sure how goats would be with it? The footage from the bucket was cool!! That hill made me nervous for sure lol Thanks for sharing Logan!!
Some have suggested higher RPMs. I sometimes do that, but like lower RPMs when I'm trying to be a little more cautious in rough terrain. I don't like jumpy hydraulics on hillsides. Thanks for watching!
I always find that slopes and hills end up looking 'flat' on camera, not the case in this video. Glad you had a shot of you walking up the hill, really provides more validation of just how steep it really was. Is that path down the hill going to end up going somewhere special?
It flattens out just a bit to the right before dropping almost straight down another 30 feet or so to the bottom of the ravine. There is an old fence at that edge. I'd like to rip it out and make an ATV trail there... but I have a lot of things to do on the TO DO list! Thanks for watching and commenting!
If I have to ask is this too steep then it is way too steep to go down. You could dump the entire pond damn in there and not really affect the the bottom of that hill.
Great video, but for the love of all things diesel give that thing some fuel. That first part was hard to watch with the tractor bogging down and about to rattle out
Gotta save the fuel with diesel at $5 a gallon! hahaha. I do lug it a bit, but it doesn't have regen or a DPF, so I haven't worried about low RPM. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I have a mental policy that I go 4x4 as soon as I'm across the road. There's too many steep spots to take 2x4 risks lol.

Goodness Logan! That was exciting!
You don't need a seat belt when you're that clinched up haha!
That’s a steep slope! Glad you were able to back out, that could have become interesting real quick. Take care!
I wouldn't have tried it pulling a full baler, that's for sure! Thanks for watching, sir!
Love the smell of diesel and dirt in the morning.
It's like Old Spice with steroids in it.
Good evening Sir, hope that you are doing and have an OUTSTANDING SUMMER SIR Cheers 😇😇👍👍👌👌🍻🍻
There's been good and bad, but mostly HOT lol. How is the weather up north right now?
Hey I just watched you a minute ago!!!😂👍🚜💨🍳
I'm one step closer to world domination! Haha thank you for watching and commenting!
Logan, you've got more nerve than a billygoat! You're nuts! Might want to look at a dozer for that kind of work. Keep at er! 👍😧🇨🇦🇺🇸🚜🍻
Dozer rentals are pretty expensive. The Massey likes to cut trails! Thanks for watching!

Up and down is okay. Sideways is what gets you messed up real fast. Right?

That looked like a lot of fun and I could not believe how steep the hill was. The tractor did a great job getting back up
There are steeper hills here. Much steeper! Thanks for watching!

I was nervous the first time backing out. But it does it easily when dry. I won't try it muddy. Thanks for watching!
throttle that perkins up man! don't lug it so much. Great video!

I always hate working on hills makes the pucker factor go way up 🤣🤣
While I was watching this my computer chair started to roll away with me in it.
Just plant those wheels in some JB Weld and hold it there for a few minutes... it won't roll away anymore!

I'd like to rent a bulldozer for about a year! haha Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@FabbedFun totally understand the saving fuel. Lugging it can damage the engine though. That’s the only reason I mention it. Keep up the vids
The omly thing your reslly doing is wrecking the loader
I haven't damaged the loader yet... I suppose it's made for hard work. Thanks for watching!

Sometimes you don't really need a seat belt when you're gripping the seat so hard lol
