Only one that comes close is Kamina from Gurrenn Lagann whenever he makes his introduction...granted like Stein's Gate GL was one of the best comedy/serious anime out there along with Gintama for all the nonsense that went on in it.

Steins;Gate was really amazing. It combined calm situations which made the characters approachable with crushing scenes like deaths, time travel and plot twist reveals shocking you in the next scene.
Every character in this anime is amazing, god I love these compilations. Edit 9/19/21: I bought the visual novel on steam Yesterday and I'm already 8 hours in this might become my favorite game. Edit 9/23/21: Got the True Ending I wasn't wrong, moving on to S;G 0 tomorrow. Edit 1/17/22: Never played S;G 0 even though I bought it, I'm addicted to FFXIV now... Edit 4/7/23: Still haven't .. but may soon; will update.
The only not so good thing about SG is that there are so many things to go through because it's literally a story that happens in a multiverse. Not complaining though. Also if there weren't a complete timeline in the SG0 official guidebook I guess everyone would be completely lost, yet that guidebook doesn't include what's in the SG line as shown in the OVA and the movie.

I love how in the second to last clip they present the perfect opportunity for the hand or face on the girl's chest trope, then we see her putting him in a chokehold. Love this anime
That is still prob my favorite part of S;G 0. Steins;Gate was just so rich in atmosphere and aesthetic that 0 just felt baffling and needlessly sexualized to me, but I do appreciate that part where they choose something less sensical, but still WAY better than a cliché. Suzu easily became my favorite in 0, I figured that out soon enough :]

They subverted that here by having Suzuha go full combat training on Okabe, and it ends up being comedic rather than creepy or forcing a romantic option.
after watching both steinds;gate and steins;gate 0, i feel so sad about her character that she came from a fucked up future in both world lines, and she doesn't know certain stuffs like corn and firework, and always on high alert that makes her anxious in everything every times her survival instinct kicks in. i feel happy for her that she can finally enjoy some normal enjoyable moments with the crews even for a while during her stay in the past. After all the painstaking suffering they had endured in all episodes from both series, the endings feel so satisfying after i rewatched em again

S;G, S;G0, all the OVAs and movie, everything Steins;Gate franchise.. it has very very quickly become my number one favorite anime of all time, I finished watching it all in 1 week, a few weeks ago. I can't stop thinking about it now. It's just too good. So I bought the 3 games that exist on the PlayStation store.. and I'm looking forward to hear about the new Steins;??? (name subject to change). Sadly I hear it may not feature the original cast anymore, but I keep some hope.
Some of the actors are going to be in it. I hope it gets a true sequel too, but it's a part of a bigger series so I have my doubts. I would like to know if Kurisu ever remembers the alpha line. She could easily create a gadget to view Okabe's memories, I'm sure she would be curious, experiment loving girl and all.
I miss the ol Suzuha where she was never serious when doing something unrelatable to her mission while the Steins;Gate 0 Suzuha she never let her guards down when doing anything even on the Christmas surprise

It's actually the first anime that I shed my tears on.
SG and SG0 made my number 1 anime for so many reasons, characters such as these being one of them.
