My Revell 1:72 Type IX C/40 (U190) WWII German Submarine Build. Final Reveal.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my channel.
On today's episode, I have finally reach the end of the road with my Revell 1:72 Type IX C/40 (U190) WWII German Submarine Build. It's been a bit of a slog along the way, including life getting in the way, illness, the Pandemic making getting hold of supplies difficult, major boobs in the painting process, and just plain loss of modelling mojo. But here we are!! I'll make my excuses now (LOL!!) but I don't have the best camera in the world, and it does make the rusting effects look more orange than they are in real life, so please take this into consideration before having a go at my painting (which I admit is my weakest part of modelling).

As with all my builds (and I think every modeller does it too) I'm seeing things I'd like to re-do, but there's only gonna be me that sees the final kit, so it could be a future project once all of my model stash has been used up!! Superb build Adrian, great job on rectifying the mishap on the paintjob. The weathering looks realistic, as though the U-boat has survived a long tour of the Atlantic. I understand you said you might be taking a break from modelling, but what are you planning to build next?

Yes, I think I need to re-charge my modelling batteries a little, but my next build will be a nice little Indi racing car that I had for Christmas a couple of years ago. I'm still trying to get hold of a 1:72 ball turret to go onto my Motorhead Bomber kit (Airfix didn't bother looking at the album artwork and realise there is one under the nose where Filthy is!!), cos I really want to get that done. For the rest of the year I'm trying to whittle down the big box kits I have as they take a lot of room up.

How much is this kit? I found it second hand for £55 is it good price? Plz let me know before i pay

If all the pieces are there then I think it is a good price. I got mine as a present, but it was in a sale for around the same price then. Best to shop around (I use Jadlam models, they seem to be the cheapest, also look on Amazon and Ebay), but for the size of the kit I think you should snap it up at that if you can't find it anywhere else.
