This is a good ting man. Mine arrived today. I like the combo dry bag/float if I want to keep personal items with me and not left on the beach. Good liming times!

how do you attach it to yourself, im new to diving

Hi, whether I am scuba or free diving I usually attach my float line and reel to my Weight belt with a double ended clip, that is easy to remove and within quick reach, this way if I hear the sound of a boat's engine I can quickly release and hold on to the float line rather than leave attached (just in case boat's propeller gets to close). If the line does not have too much of a "belly" it is easily manageable even when I am fin kicking. Hope that helps, I have plans to do a quick video on this since I have had other similar questions, soon :) ... thanks for your question, hope I answered, I can also show you the clips and reel.

Best practice suggests that you never clip a line off to yourself because if a boat comes through and hits the buoy it can drag you through the water. Maybe take a weight with you or tie it off to something on the bottom.🤷‍♂️

How do you remove the flag?

Hello the flag "pole" is relatively short and it simply sticks in with some pressure applied, so to remove it's the reverse, just pull up and it is off, I use one and I mentioned the pole is "short" so it does not have too much wind loading etc to cause it to fall out. Hope this helps. Ron
