No, there was recognition from the puppy and there probably was paperwork otherwise the cops wouldn't hand it over, but not the best owner if the puppy had no chip to begin with. But it was early days, hopefully this young woman has learned her lesson. I've rescued stray kittens and alway chipped before handover, really baffling that didn't happen.
Always surprises me that the US hangs onto the old imperial, when the rest of the world use metric. Especially considering they didn't like being told what to do by their colonial masters ;) Metric is so much easier to understand & use :)
I thought the same thing. That little puppy didn't seem happy at all to see her at all. No tail wagging or nothing at all. And the owner didn't seem that worry or happy to have her back. I don't think they knew each other at all. I would had wanted some proof or something that said that the puppy was her's.🤔

I felt the same way, especially when she said the friend had problems, it doesn't take a genius to figure out what problems. I bet he was secretly hoping nobody came forward. I just hope she's having a good life💖
I feel so bad for Tilly. I honestly didn't feel that the one that came in to claim her really loved her. She wasn't acting right. No tears of sadness or joy!!! I would have flipped when I saw her. And I know I'd have tears in my eyes. I'd also be saying Thank You, Thank you Dr. so much for getting her back to me. This women is shady and not deserving of this cute sweet puppy. Go check on her Dr. please.
Same, if my dog was missing for over a week and I finally found him or someone had him, and called me to ask me to get him, I would cry of tears and say thank you and be really happy, the puppy didn’t seem really happy to see the “owner” , most puppies get really happy to see their owner even tho they’re just 12 weeks old.. 🙄😐

Why not! The ‘ what if’ Superman ship landed in Australia! Instead of the daily planet, it is a animal hospital, where Superman had been using his powers to help with vet surgery and medicine, such as x-rays eyes and microscopic heat vision
After i read the comments of people saying that this cute dog had been given back to the owner who seemed shady, i just couldn't continue watching, because.. i remember what a big mistake i made to give back a little dog to his owner.. I should've read the signs, of the dog not being thrilled to see her, and the way she often lost it, but it was too late. I don't believe in "giving the pet back to owner". It's not always the right decision.
I very much agree. There was a dog in my village who kept running away. She was a big Mastiff who was underweight. It felt like she was always being featured on our Village Facebook page as “Missing.” Week after week. Then, once she run away again and got hit by a car. My neighbour found her limping. She immediately phoned the police to inform them that she has the dog and conscientiously REFUSED to allow the owner to have the dog back. She took the dog to the vet and it was discovered that the dog had a broken leg. She told the owner that she was unfit to keep a dog and that if she wanted her back, she would have to do so through the legal system and take her to court. Three years later, the dog is happy and lives with my neighbour next door. She has never run away since.

It's against the law to hold the dog away from the lady. They can't just keep her it if's truly hers. That's stolen property. Chris had no choice, sadly.

@@Vashti_Online My adult female dog is a deer head chihuahua/jack russel and dad was a lapso Apso. She had 9 puppies, 3 looked like jack russel/beagles, 2 looked like chihuahuas, 2 looked like the dog in the picture, 1 looked like a jack Russell, and the last one looks like a Papallion...lol
Hopefully the owner won't be leaving her irresponsibly with her drug addicted friends anymore and she didn't seem like someone who has been worried about the little puppy they love. Not sure how they feel good about returning this one...hopefully that little dog is being well cared for.

Several things about this video really bother me; firstly why did the owner leave the pup with such a dufus dogsitter that LOST THE DOG!!! and if the dog was so hot and clearly lethargic, I wd have NOT spent so much time FILMING this but immediately dunk the whole dog in a basin of cool (not cold) water; then set a gentle fan on it while squirting a water/electrolyte solution into its mouth. and I would not feed a small tiny young pup hard kibble for a meal; thats hard for them to crush/digest the hard kibble bits; I wd feed him wet food/ ground powdered kibble if required.
They're trained vets, pretty sure they can tell a serious case of heatstroke at a glace. Also, I don't think they were using kibble for her meals, probably just had it laid out of a snack

Several things about this video really bother me; firstly why did the owner leave the pup with such a dufus dogsitter that LOST THE DOG!!! and if the dog was so hot and clearly lethargic, I wd have NOT spent so much time FILMING this but immediately dunk the whole dog in a basin of cool (not cold) water; then set a gentle fan on it while squirting a water/electrolyte solution into its mouth. and I would not feed a small tiny young pup hard kibble for a meal; thats hard for them to crush/digest the hard kibble bits; I wd feed him wet food/ ground powdered kibble if required.
They're trained vets, pretty sure they can tell a serious case of heatstroke at a glace. Also, I don't think they were using kibble for her meals, probably just had it laid out of a snack
And he probably spent ages taking care of the little one, and just filmed a few bits for the show during that time. He is a Vet.
