The Hendersons and Gassmans are embryo placing and adopting families who were matched through the Snowflakes Embryo Adoption Program. Listen as the two couples tell their open adoption story and the steps they purposefully made to build trust and love into their new family tree.
    There is much fear and uncertainty regarding choosing an open adoption plan. These two families share with you their determination to overcome fear, resulting in great relationships for their children and for themselves.

    Millions of embryos get flushed down the toilet every single day in the United States and when you believe life begins at conception that is a large amount of murder for one country. What a healthy decision of these people made together. What a lucky group of children to have so many siblings and so many parents that care about them.

      No one knows what that kid will feel like. I wouldn’t want be at his place: my sublings live with biological parents and I don’t. They create me, but didn’t need me, course they already get the other kids and I’m the superfluous and unnecessary one

      Malia.,.please read " Reproduction 101 or Fertilization For Dummies. Do you know what is an Embryo? Do you know that Mr. Sperm cell will run to meet Miss egg cell and at some point they get together inside " the dark cave" to become an Embryo ? There wont be no embryo if those two don't do the Tango..( takes two to tango ) . What goes in the toilet ,on blankets, or any other place after their " released" are the eggs or the sperms that did not do the Tango. And those two wont survive outside their cozy cave unless is manipulated by science. The only crime I see here is your lack of basic sex education.

    Ok I have no idea why we have embryos that are being frozen to begin with. Doesn’t make sense. Were they donated? Or did scientists pay for them? Either way.....why? And why would you adopt them? I get what this couple thinks they’re doing but really? These embryos were frozen they felt no pain while it makes sense to adopt babies, that are already feeling neglect with no one to love them. I can’t give them the praise they’re looking for......

      Embryo adoption is way more affordable and more simple compared to baby or child adoption.

      Many women want to go to the process of pregnancy, and for you to question their motives is horrible. I praise all the parties involved!!!

      Embryos are usually 5 day blastocysts created during ivf- many will NOT go on to produce a baby. But kind people who have completed their families by ivf, donate their spare frozen embryos to help other couples struggling with fertility. IVF is difficult as it is without negative comments from people who don’t understand.

    I would never donate my embryos. The thought that somewhere my kids are walking is awful. And if the donated kid is not ok?

    • @emg708

      That is why it is unethical to create so many embryos in the first place. Making over 10 human beings, knowing doctors will often only place 1-2 at a time in the womb, is excessive.

    • @user-xw1dw3zi4h
      @user-xw1dw3zi4h ปีที่แล้ว

      @@emg708 , yes, but no one knows how many embryos it will take for successful IVF. The procedure is dangerous, doctors take all the ovum. And they produse embryos from all the taken eggs. Somebody will have 10 embryos with good quality, someone only 2. Someone will spent them all for attemps. The other one will need only 1 embryo. It not predictable, thats why we have this situation

    • @emg708
      @emg708 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@user-xw1dw3zi4h understood. Making so many human beings is not ethical though.
