Let me give a personal example of what Bjorn is saying. A few years ago, I dropped a $35,000 Solar System into my house. To me it was less because the government supplemented it some but that wasn't free money. I will pay for it in increased taxes over my life. The solar panels reduced my power bills about $150/month. Meaning not including interest, it will take me 237 months (or 20 years) to get my money back. Solar is expensive and it takes money to install to get those small savings over time. I get more energy than I need during the day and sell the rest (about 600 kwh/month) back to the utility coop at 3 cents per kilowatt which they sell to my neighbors for 10 cents. But when it's cloudy/rains or its dark outside (mostly winter), I'm dependent on the utility again. Because I went away from natural gas to an all electric home heating system, my utility bills are higher in the winter than summer. Less hours of sunlight, heat pumps work harder in the night/winter. This is not the simple answer politicians put forth. People need to listen to Bjorn Lomborg. His organization has already done the math.

Why don't YOU develop some good arguments to explain why Bjorn is right? Why? Because you prefer conspiracy over THINKING.
Why do you trust someone who never mentions the Keeling Curve? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keeling_Curve
Why do you trust someone who never mentions how much CARBON man has released? climate.nasa.gov/rails/active_storage/blobs/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsibWVzc2FnZSI6IkJBaHBBb2NJIiwiZXhwIjpudWxsLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--bcefc33e313ddb58448f7c356d9824b03ff46392/1853_CO2_Chart.gif
Why do your trust someone who never demonstrates the simple calculation of how much HEAT is absorbed by that CARBON? RF = 5.35*ln (C/280)
The problem isn't manmade climate change or even the denial or fear of it. The problem is YOU. Too brainless to take the little time from stroking your penis to fucking LEARN something of value. Much easier to just say "Labelism" (whatever the fuck THAT is) and switch hands.

So a PAID lobbiest for the oil industry is to be trusted explaining why "it ain't all that bad" and "just keep using the oil, it'll be all OK?"
End point of all of Bjorn's horseshit? The fossil fuel revenues continue to roll into their bank accounts. Thanks a lot numbnuts.
